This version enables language translations for most buttons, labels, and text within the WoodPicker app. Specifically, the language conversions are from English to French, German, and Spanish. This does not include translation conversions for items in the WoodPicker Store.

This new version fixes a bug with the picking/selection of lumber made from softwood varieties (e.g. pine, cedar, etc). The bug prevented the user from being able to fulfill the parts list for the softwood. It also gave confusing information regarding the thickness of the selection category. This version also changes the cost structure of woodworking plans offered by this app for WoodPicker Pro users.

This version also contains some bug fixes and improvements such as: 1) greater flexibility for importing woodworking plans (.csv files) of your own design utilizing the required plan format. 2) The user is notified if changing material types results in an increase in pieces for a part (e.g. such as changing from Birch (Veneer) to Cherry.

One of these compartments can be configured as an opening for media devices or as a small drawer. There are 2 additional larger drawers for storage. This console also features 2 large storage compartments, each compartment having 2 adjustable shelves. One of these storage compartments is open for display while the other has a door that covers the shelving. The overall dimensions are 46 1/2″ (W) x 28 5/16″ (H) x 18″ (D). The plan comes with cutting and assembly instructions for Pocket Screw or Mortise and Tenon Joinery.

These changes fix problems associated with changing the quantity of assemblies for a project. When you increase the quantity to be greater than 1, the number of parts displayed for picking was incorrect. These changes also make it clear that the Flower Box project cannot be deleted from the app.

Here's how it works: WoodPicker will take your list of parts from your project plan and create suggestions of board dimensions to fulfill the parts list. If you can't find a board that matches the suggestion, no worries. Just change the suggested dimension and WoodPicker will automatically determine how to lay your parts on your chosen board. Just updated, and still can’t build a trial part

The dimension selector is still scroll wheels, and not until you specify everything about the first pet are you hit with the upgrade required to proceed. Well, that was a wate of time!

I’m interested the sketch up integration but can’t even think how well that would work, and I’m pretty sure given my experience thus far…it is not even possible to test unless I shell out $9.99.

Nice try but need significant t work for UI/UX. And, if you want people to try before buy, then you need to actually ‘allow’ that!

Hard to figure out how to use

This app has a good concept of calculating cut pieces. However, I would have liked some time to determine if this app would be a benefit to my projects before payment for pro version is requested.
I can’t pay for something if can’t determine if this app is easy to use and suites my purposes. It could have allowed me to experiment by creating one of my whole projects, not just a piece of it.

I'm sorry you feel this way, but you are mistaken. From the home screen, you can click on New Project. Then click on Generate. This will allow you to generate a small project to trial the user interface. For larger projects, you do have to purchase the WoodPicker Pro in-app purchase. This is clearly stated in the app description. Once you purchase WoodPicker Pro, all project plans are free, or you can upload your own designs. I do not understand why you consider this a scam. I am not aware of any hardware store that allows you to walk home with a tool for free. Hundreds of hours have gone into this app to make it a tool to save the user considerable time in the selection and layout of parts on the selected lumber. So, I cannot give my work away. I hope you can understand that. If you don't want to purchase WoodPicker Pro, then there are a number of project plans you can purchase that also allows you to take advantage of the features of this app. There is also a free project plan to try out the app.
