The longer I play- the better it gets. I absolutely LOVE this game. I deliberately slowed to a crawl to draw it out, savor every minute. It's wickedly delicious. 😈
Phantasmat is one of my top phavorite series. I happen to favor darker mysterious genres, which is exactly what Phantasmat embodies- &they didn't disappoint!

...one second you're alone on a rowboat 🚣🏼 with a creepy guy with a thick Irish (Scottish?) brogue, at dusk, facing a huge dark menacing Castle atop a jutting cliff that's looming in the background....then...

...next thing you know you're underwater-🌊 only to resurface w/creepy guy gone...for now..
Super opening.🥂🍾
Next, an early mini-game arrival, an unexpected happy diversion from the standard HOP (ah, it's the little things..) off to a really great start...👌🏻

🕸No waiting for a change of scenery. You're constantly in the move with multiple areas both indoors &out, numerous cool and intricate details at every turn, like the veiny skeletal hand blended into the cliff, creepy jesters 🃏w/tons of eerie pop ups -LOVE 💘
🕷Music is anticipatory, filled w rich bass tones..reminiscent of a scary movie &the Realistic Sound Effects (best w headphones!) are often fantastically cringeworthy
🕸Radio Mini-Game is a fun concept, loved the transition afterwards
🕷 Plenty of 2-1, & 3-1 HOP's that are much longer than normal- So Happy 🤸🏼♀️
🕸Stone Square Mini-Game was unique &fun

I was SO excited to play...only to find it's been completely dumbed down. The game won't allow a piece to be released unless you've selected the accurate placement. Then you can't advance unless you select the right direction. Why?? How is that even a game?By removing ANY challenge, guesswork or thought - it's perfect for under age 5.
What a huge loss of potential.
☠️Under Water Scenes.
Delete. I could've done without it. But at least make all the travel/hoop jumping worth it by offering an extra cool interactive Mini-Game...endless possibilities.
⏰WAKE UP!Mobile Testers!
Look at the actual parameters and placement of the HO's, Puzzles and Mini-Games on mobile phones!
1) The edges are practically flush with the background- without a buffer it nearly impossible to select/move an item, navigate controls or piece together without constantly activating the wrong things and/or backing out/closing it down.
EX: The (?) 🔄 buttons are so close together and located halfway on/off the perimeter- so you're constantly activating them and the placement of HINT and SKIP also interferes.

While I appreciated the newer games, I'd be thrilled with more difficulty-increasingly Complex, Challenging, and Unique HOP's, Puzzles ...and please add Multi Level Mini-Games.

JUST ❤️LOVED IT.
It was such an impressive improvement, with so many upgrades and variety.
I especially loved the timing; with one fun HOP or Mini-Game after another, the ongoing activity, the division into two parts and practically every scene was jam packed, containing objects of purpose...adding to the excitement of "what's next?"
Speaking of....
I am SO looking forward to the next installment.
