Amazing clarity. If you are going to add any more fireplaces, may I suggest white birch logs?

Good but why can music play

The visual is absolutely stunning nothing to complain about there. But what would be great if you could also play some music in the background for instance if you had this on at Thanksgiving or during Christmas it would be GREAT to be able to play some music using the Music app on the Apple TV in the background of this.

No Audio when mirroring

Everything else mirrors audio (with video) but this app doesn’t seem to. I’m only getting video when mirroring.

Very relaxing to watch. Gives the house atmosphere

We enjoy watching the flames. Very soothing.

PERFECT FOR IPAD

I use this on an iPad and it looks and sounds authentic. A very nice effect. I can almost warm my hands in the app fire! Nicely done.

Seriously? Mirroring the rest of the 1 star reviews.

Can't play music in the background. Doesn't even support ios silent mode to mute app sounds to allow for music in the background.

Hello. Presumably when referencing the "rest of the 1 star reviews" you mean the single 2 star review below? Either way. Yes. You are correct. The app doesn't not allow music to be played in the background. This is simply not possible and Apple does not permit this function in apps such as these. At no point in the app description does it suggest you can play music in the background, so it's hard for me to understand why you are so upset. You have not been mislead, no one as lied to you. The app works exactly as promised. Ref your other comment. If you don't like the gentle crickle crackle of the fireplace. simply turn down the volume. This will provide an instant solution! :)

Hello gjjhve$bjkmgrvnik. What an unusual name. You must have had very creative parents! I'm sorry you're so upset, this was not my intention. Yes you are correct, you cannot play music alongside the fireplace video. This is sadly not possible. But at no time in the apps description do I claim that is it. So it's hard for me to fully understand your point. Thing is. The app works exactly as promised, so from my point of view, everything is fine. Getting angry because a product doesn't do something you'd hoped it would do, doesn't help anyone. I wish my toaster would also boil the kettle and make my tea. But sadly this is not possible. It's a toaster. It turns bread into toast, that's what it does. I'm not going to loose sleep over it or get upset. :)

App is simple and well executed....

I’ve downloaded a few free fireplace apps, and one other 4k app. This one has (by a wide margin) the most crisply executed 4K picture. On a very good loop, hard to tell it actually is. Sound works fine. A few more additional choices to add on to this app would be a good idea as it only comes with three different fire place selections. Overall, terrific app 5 stars. It is exactly as described in the App Store.

Yep. I'm THAT customer...

....who believed that this app was free for iPhone, based on something I read on my AppleTV. Nope. (Shame on me) Also, and most importantly, will not function only as Screensaver whilst allowing music to be played simultaneously on AppleTV. THAT was functionality I wanted and the reason I "purchased" this app. Upon my extreme disappointment, I reached out to Apple for a refund, which is "not normally done". Was instructed to take it up with developer whose response was "Apple doesn't allow refunds" 🙄 and sent me back to Apple to make my case. Apple sent me back to the developer who has a "Still not happy" section for whiny customers like me. I left a description of the issue over which I am sure they are now laughing like school boys who just watched the captain of the football team get crotch-rammed by a jilted cheerleader, at my ignorance and lack of app savvy. Needless to say I've heard nothing back from either Apple or the developers, hence my rant and low rating. Dudes! At least reply to your own customer service requests even if it is an answer that the customer doesn't like. Have some common decency to at least acknowledge that someone reached out to you.
App was only $2 and in the scheme of things not going to break the bank. However, NOBODY likes paying for something that is not useful. Not ever purchasing from this developer again. I'll consider this a $2 education on being sure of the developer's reputation and never believing what I read on the interwebs😡

That’s an impressive and creative rant, but I’m afraid I agree with Apple. This is a premium app and at no point has it been free. I’m sorry that you feel mislead by something you read on your Apple TV, but this is not my fault nor the fault of the app. NB. You are correct, all refunds are issued by Apple. This is out my control and entirely at their discretion. I have no influence over this process. Secondly. At no point in the apps description or marketing images does it suggest that music can be played alongside the fireplace. Presuming/hoping this function exists then getting upset when it does not, again, is not my fault nor the fault of the app. Lastly. App support emails come directly to my inbox and I’m afraid I've not received “any” communication from you. Believe me, I would remember! Customer service is extremely important to me. It’s not a joking matter. I can only presume your email went missing due to a technical issue or user error. For this reason it’s always best to contact developers via the app itself. In my case we have a “feedback and support” section in every app. All emails via this portal are flagged as priority. Something to bare in mind for the future. Or if you’d like to discuss this further.

Cozy

Nice app - very cozy. But come on guys - the UI is iPhone X compatible - - but not the fireplaces? What gives ???? Get with it - iPhone X support plus also adding new fireplaces gets 5 stars.

Hi shubert. Thanks for your review. You're right, the aspect ratio of the videos was a little off for the iPhone X, XS and XS Max. But I'm pleased to say that this has been adjusted and everything looks great in the latest version. Please update to see the changes.
