Do not buy a vespa
My Vespa was sold to me on the basis of its connectivity. But neither the dealer nor I can connect it to the bike. The app is terrible. Just avoid.danvan
Problems
I turned my Vespa GTS 300 SS off and the headlight remained on. It was still on after 30min. I had to remove the fuse to turn it off. I read online that connecting to the app can caused problems like this. I turned off the Bluetooth on my phone and my headlight turned off.PatSydOz
Killer Issues with new upgrade
The new release has made it impossible to pair phone to the bike. The little phone item no longer appears at bottom right of bike’s display.
When try to pair using the bike menu the menu returns to main screen.
Before this update I could pair phone and bike - needed to manually pair using the phone app each time. This gave simple navigation, music player as well as capturing ride information and bike information.
Menu is not particularly intuitive eg how to switch to navigation mode etc.
Given the quality of the screen and Here Maps which is used to drive the navigation function this could be so much better. It should be possible to show a full map instead of an icon telling you what to do at next junction. That way you can easily manage your trip.
Having next turn come up even if eg in main menu or music as you approach would also be great.
It’s not a huge investment but it would help to justify the benefits of having a supertech. And the same software is used for other motorbike brands in the same stable eg Aprilia. So development costs can be spread across all.Show lessJN31
