Crop Monitor
2.0
November 20, 2024
This is intended as a completely new app as opposed to a new version – hence the name change to PGRO Crop Monitor. If specific text is required, please can we use the following: The PGRO Crop Monitor app is aimed at growers of pulse crops in the UK (including vegetable legumes and soya) and their advisors. Its purpose is to aid the identification of agronomic issues such as pests, diseases, physiological disorders and nutrient deficiencies. Common conditions are briefly described by crop type and are where available accompanied by illustrative example images. By creating a report, the app can be used to record incidents for the user’s own benefit and to seek direct advice or further help in identification from the PGRO. Reports are stored on the user’s own device and emailed for their own record. They also are automatically emailed to the PGRO for logging and responses required by the user. Data captured in the App is retained entirely at PGRO and is not shared with any other party. It is captured purely in aiding the response to requests for assistance and for anonymously logging the incidence of agronomy issues on a regional basis at PGRO.
