Horrible app. Can’t o diddly squat without paying and can’t see enough of tyke functions to know whether it’s worth buying. Route locations with weather info are odd; not your normal towns and cities and some didn’t even pop up on the normal map apps. If you’re gonna want people to buy your app give them something to look at first. Free websites work better.
Don’t waste your time or money.
I used to use this app for planning road trips. However, now it's completely useless because with the most recent update all I get is a black screen after touching "Drive now" and/or "Plan ahead." Instead of making improvements which make big changes, it would be much wiser to fix bugs and add minor changes. Always remember: "if it works, DON'T fix it!"
Edited Monday 1009 March 2020. I replied to developer with screenshots yesterday, Sunday afternoon. Just installed update an EVERYTHING IS WORKING AS IT WAS prior to previous update. Developer FIXED IN LESS THAN 20 HOURS! OUTSTANDING! Thank you very much for your quick response to the issue about "centering" were the "x" was not on the screen on my iPad Pro and iPad Mini. I changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars.

UPDATE: I haven't heard back from this user, but I've confirmed with a test device that the way the prompts are centered is the problem; a particular centering method works well on iPads and larger iPhones, but not on smaller devices. A new iOS release will be out shortly to fix this for new users. Old users can simply restart the app and they'll have the fix.
ORIGINAL: Can you please email me at voyagestudiosllc@gmail.com with more details? This is the first report of a black screen and it definitely sounds like like a bug that needs to be fixed. In both cases, you should be seeing two different prompts that require closing. If you're not seeing those prompts, I'll need to fix that.I expect free apps to perform some limited function with paid upgrades available for advanced features. This app, as far as I can tell, does nothing unless you pay $2. That is not a bad price at all, but it should be the cost of the basic app. The useless free download is a bait and switch, and irritates me.
I was traveling from Port Townsend WA to Illinois in February. I needed something to watch the weather over the passes. It did ok. The app glitched while going over one pass at the beginning of our trip so I just didn’t use it at that time. I tried to use the drive now function multiple times after paying the $1.99 monthly fee. Only worked once. I tried to check my route multiple times and it kept starting from my origin point rather than my location or where I typed in. Kinda over this app at this point.

Thanks for your feedback. You're correct that it should start from your location. I'll take a look at it and fix the bug quickly.We travel full time in our RV, and this app has kept us from heading out on the road when it was nice where we were but horrible down the road. Very helpful.
I found this app to be helpful and accurate. I travel slit and always go to this app to see the weather ahead. Comforting.
I travel alot. I have many travel apps on my iPhone to use. My niece and daughter told me about this one. I downloaded it and LOVED it. I wrote the developer about a suggestion I had and he immediately went to work on it!! To my surprise he listened and implemented them within a day or 2. He actually paid attention to the feedback . Wish other developers were as engaged as he was. Thank you for that. Now instead of 5 essential apps I use, this cuts it down to 3.❤️❤️❤️👍
I'm leaving for Florida in a couple of days, so I put in my destination, and asked for route guidance. It showed me a bunch of towns it's routing me through, none of which I'd ever heard of. None of the major cities I'm actually going to drive thru were in their route. I zoomed in on their map, and saw they were routing me on local roads, not on interstate highways. I tried to edit their stupid route, but it can't be edited, you have to take it or leave it. I left it in the app cemetery, to rest in peace alongside all the other useless apps I've deleted. Motorcycle trip from DC to Dallas. Departed June 27. This app showed no rain on I-40 through TN. Encountered late thunderstorm going into Nashville 27 June and again next morning. On return no rain forecast starting 4 July. 5 July got hammered by late afternoon thunderstorm that almost blew me off the road. Storm Radar app and clearly developing storms gave me time to prepare. This app not so much.
Wish I had this sooner... and glad I have it for all future traveling I do.
