Description of myRowPro

If you have a Concept2 Indoor Rower with a PM5 or later, then myRowPro is your key to getting the results you want. Check out these great features: • Runs in your iOS phone or tablet. • Create and row set pieces, training plans or custom rows. • Connects to your Concept2 PM5 via Bluetooth. • Just tap your screen to set up a row. • Track your progress onscreen while you row. • Auto-saves each row in your online logbook. myRowPro is the perfect companion for your Concept2 Indoor Rower. It connects to your Concept2 PM5 via Bluetooth - just turn on Bluetooth on your PM5, then pair it to myRowPro. Then use myRowPro to set up the row you want on the Concept2 PM5, and start rowing. While you row, myRowPro shows an onscreen rowing course, plus a handy PM twin and a dual stroke-by-stroke chart that tracks your pace and heart rate. myRowPro automatically captures every stroke while you row, and when you finish it uploads the row to your myRowPro online logbook. There you can see splits and charts of your performance, and you can analyze your progress vs. previous rows. You can also export your rows to your Concept2 online Logbook. myRowPro has a professional training system with hundreds of training plan templates for weight, fitness, and competition from beginner to elite, all created by training guru Jon Ackland of Performance lab International. There’s even a wizard to accurately tailor each training plan to your intentions, abilities and physiology, so it’s just right for you. Training plans make a big psychological difference to your rowing. We all intuitively get the difference between ‘will I row today’ and ‘what am I scheduled to row today’. It’s much more likely you’ll actually do the row if it’s part of a training plan. You can see what training workout you’re scheduled to do each day, and myRowPro sets it up directly onto your Concept2 PM5 for you to row. And of course, your results are logged automatically stroke by stroke so you can analyze them later. Welcome to myRowPro, and all the best with your rowing. Reviews of myRowPro

  • Non functional

Developer provides no instructions or setup guide. I can’t get the thing to connect to the PM5. One tip: you can’t use your log-in credentials to get to your Digital Rowing account (which is the first option and the one that would make sense to use). Instead, use your product key. That’ll get you into the account, but that’s all you can do with it.

    Developer Response

Hi VonTrousers, thank you for taking the time to provide a review. You can log in with your username/email and password if you are already subscribed. Or you can request a free trial. myRowPro is currently a companion product for RowPro but we are working hard to make it a full version of RowPro for iOS. Currently you can row offline, create a customised training plan, see you logbook, see and join but not race online sessions in Oarbits. We are keen to assist any and all users and can be contact here https://discord.gg/5EsYbWs8
  • Sign up for online races

Let’s me see what sessions are scheduled, post my own sessions and sign up for fun rows and races. Sometimes a little slow but gives you access to your rowing log and results. Would be nice if it could sort by user

    Developer Response

You can now also use the app to create customised training plans and row offline. We are working hard to add all the functionality of RowPro.
  • Junk

Downloaded and deleted. It’s junk and there are better apps.
