This app is truly amazing. For starters, it's endorsed by the International Union of Police Associations. This app literally gives you the access to send a ping to all law enforcement and dispatchers in the area to be on the lookout for your child. Everyone in the comments saying "sCaM" do not have a clue how any of this works. Yes, it is funded by a life insurance company. Notice how they are literally making sure that YOUR CHILDREN are safe and taken care of. I always say it’s better to be safe than sorry.
It’s a no-brainer! This app is endorsed by the police association and works with the Amber Alert system.
Definitely better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
Why risk wasting hours of precious time trying to gather the info necessary to issue an Amber alert, when in a few clicks of a button law enforcement can have ALL the info they need.

I understand why they schedule the virtual meeting to go over it. It’s a really cool app and is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, valuable kit and it’s free!
And, I love that the company goes over a complete family protection program. It did take about an hour or so to go over everything, but it was well worth it!
Educational at the very least. And I felt good walking away knowing I got some valuable free stuff and not only did I help protect my kids, but I ended up protecting the entire family as well with the other products/services they offer.

I can’t comment on the merits of the app specifically, but I can comment on the company as a whole. They are owned by a company called America Income Life. They sell many things, but most importantly life insurance. What you don’t know is when you sign up for the ( free child safe kit) you will then be called constantly by a sales rep for the safety kit, never once mentioning life insurance. They will then request a meeting with you at you home to set up the child safe kit, and go over what it is. For all of 10 minuets they will go over the app with you, and almost immediately switch to selling you life insurance. They will go over all kinds of information for there life insurance, for about an hour, unless you are smart and ask them to leave. This is what most would call a bait and switch tactic, and is very shady to do, especially when they are using your child’s safety to get there foot in the door quite literally. Oh also fun fact if you are thinking why this is a big deal, American Income Life has a 1.7 star rating with the better business bureau, and an overwhelming amount of bad reviews from customers, complaint about annual visits that are somewhat forced to try and get you to purchase a larger life insurance policy. Don’t get me wrong this company is not a scam and is truly legit, but they are not a company one should look to for a life insurance policy. Every child needs this but…..
My children go to a great school. Paperwork was sent home for parents interested in a child safety kit for their children. I signed up last year but I never heard back from anyone until I signed up again this year & the calls were back to back. The amount of numerous calls made me regret signing up. No one, & I mean absolutely no one is that interested in your kid’s safety besides their parents, so I knew it was a catch.
The company is selling life insurance among a number of other things you need to pay for monthly. My children already have life insurance, including a college plan. Not to mention, Global life has negative reviews and a lot of complaints from the BBB.
I was on a zoom call with the company for two hours watching videos on their life insurance and other plans they offer. Such a waste of time for people who already have these things set in place.
My advice, make your own child safety kit. Get a fingerprint kit off the internet, or go to your local police station and ask for a child safety kit and save a loc of hair just in case. Make sure their dental records are up to date. Keep everything in a safe just in case something happens to your child. This app wants your child’s DNA along with a number of other things such as family information.

Filled out form on Facebook for a free kit in mail. I received a phone call saying I need to have a zoom meeting to setup app. The Zoom meeting was almost a two hour pitch to sell you life insurance.
Parents: If you need a free Safe Child Kit contact your local police station.
