Please add video record mode

I like this app so far. I am having a hard time buying premium version. I can’t hide logo. I’d like to record some of my guitar, keys and drums as some spectrum modes as a mp4 video so can edit as part of music video with visual spectrum elements.

How to get it premium?

One star cut. I didn’t find the way to get the premium version to unlock full capabilities and hide logo. Otherwise, exactly what I was looking for.

Good & Simple Music Visualizer

Exactly what I was looking for. Simple effects, easy to use, inexpensive. Great for lo-fi beats.

Not worth one star

Why would anyone want to spend money on an app that loads upside down on your iPad and has no idea what up and down is? Screen orientation is a feature smart phones and tablets use to keep the image or app correctly oriented. This app doesn’t. Why would anyone want to spend money on an app that’s only purpose is visual, when the text and images of that app, only have a one in four chance of being properly oriented? No thank you.

Response from developer

Hi Kokamo Jo, thanks for your feedback. The app now supports landscape left and landscape right screen orientations (version 1.3.0 and above). Spectrojam has a free mode that doesn't require any payment and allows users to enjoy all the Premium Visualizers for 5 hours by watching a music video. Cheers!

Needs an addition

It you could record your music I’m sure that this app would get used a lot

Okay

Looked pretty and started to vibe but then a google ad came up over the visuals and when I closed it it stayed. Ruined it for me .

Hi jbksmokes, in the latest version (1.3.0) we have removed all banner ads and replaced them with a small Spectrojam logo that can be hidden in Premium mode.

Good for tap tone analysis

It is very nice and reliable. I have used this app for tap tone analysis.

Turns off Bluetooth headphones

I have a pair of Jabra headphones. Although Bluetooth remains “On”, the music stops coming through on my headphones. If I close the app right after starting it (and my headphones becoming disabled), the headphones turn right back on.

Really cool effects, but can’t enjoy them at work, so all I can do is look at the cool Visualizer, yet hear nothing :/

Hi disensin, the newest version of Spectrojam (1.3.0) adds limited Bluetooth support, meaning that music can still play out of some Bluetooth headphones (i.e. AirPods) while you are using the visualizers. The music will pause when you first start the app, but you can start playing the music again when the app is running, and it will continue playing through your headphones when you switch back to the app. Jam on!

Best Sound Visualizer

This is the best sound visualizer available on the app store...very accurate, too. If I play a note on my keyboard or guitar it will display the exact frequency. I use it all the time in my music studio.

Didn't work well on iPad

The ad says it unlocks the "premium" features after watching the video. Thats a little deceptive since they only are only unlocked for an hour.
After unlocking premium features and adjusting input sensitivity to maximum level, visual display response was minimal even to loud sounds like clapping. Only sound input appears to be via the microphone which isn't very good.

Hi Visionhorse, in the newest version of Spectrojam, you can watch a music video to unlock the Premium Visualizers for 5 hours. To permanently unlock them, users must purchase Premium mode. In our testing, we've observed that older iOS devices have lower-quality microphone hardware, and therefore less visual response in the app. If you are using an older device, you may need to upgrade to a newer device for a better experience.
