I work out regularly. Swim laps 6 days a week for 30-40 mins each day, lift weights 6 days a week, and do functional fitness like in this app doing body weight exercises or kettlebell exercises several days a week. I’ve been swimming a year and a half and added in the weight training and functional moves 3 months ago. I dropped my normal
Functional Challenges for this app. I chose the easy (beginner) mode. It honestly kicks my butt. Idk how 5-6 rounds of pretty intense workouts is considered easy but I’m hanging in there and I don’t want to see normal or intense anytime soon. For example in the second week of the app it will have you doing 80 squats. A lot of squat challenges work you up to doing 100 by the end of 30 days.
Do not get me wrong. I enjoy the challenge and the workouts and I am OK with feeling like I want to throw up half way through this. But if I hadn’t already been experienced in most of these movements or been fit already I probably would have given up by now.
If you’re new to fitness this may be the only exercise you do at first, pace yourself, and know at the end of 30 days you’ll see some results. :-) stick in there
