Do not get this app
The app does not work at all when you first go into the app all it is is a controller that you already get with the drone. The camera doesn’t work and all you can do is take a photo of the in app controller.Missy britches
Drone
I love flying my SYMA x300 drone, but the camera won’t connect to the app on my phone. It does instantly connect on my iPad app though. If they can fix that, it would be great. I am in touch with customer service about this and they’re trying to help with the situation. I hope it’s fixed soon. It’s still not fixed as of last year, but I hope it’s fixed soon. It will not connect drone to iPhones, only iPads. Just a heads up. Update: went to Apple due to an issue I was having on my phone. They did a hard reset on my phone and that helped a lot. I can now see live feed and everything on my phone. I’m going to play with other app features tomorrow. So, if this app doesn’t work on your phone, back your phone up and go to Apple to get a hard reset.Show lessSuperstar girly girl 101

This is a very good app for the drone but it really wants you to look around to find how to use it and you will have to go to settings to connect and use to see gps at first I couldn’t bring it to me last time I lost it one my roof.. but it is a good app to see how your drone is going and looking atShow lessLyrics’s
App works but it is a mix of English and Chinese
Some of the pop ups are English messages with Chinese Yes/No buttons. A little frustrating to have to guess the first time what you are answering but not insurmountable.
The most frustrating is that videos will not save to my Photos app. I select the video, click the almost hidden icon to download (it is halfway cutoff by the notch at the top of the phone), click the Chinese answer for yes I want to save to photos, and I get a grey bar at the bottom of the screen that simply says “error”.Show lessSprocket74
App needs updating for iOS 17.2.1
Drone works great but the app doesn’t work for either controlling or camera connection (with a Syma Z4). Worked on an iPhone running iOS 16.1.1.
On the older device it runs smoothly but low score due to not being compatible with latest OS. Will update if changes in the future.pleasance
Awful
Complete waste of money - the Christmas gift was really disappointing: no camera and the app was totally useless. The flying of the drone was ok with the remote but the lack of camera (which is fitted but doesn’t work on z4w models - it says on the website that it doesn’t which is pretty awful to let you know once you’ve bought it) takes half the fun out of it.Show lessgf CV j D m
Lasted 15minutes
The Z4W is pretty terrible. I flew it once, then my son had a go, it went up, sideways and flew completely out of site and we lost it. AwfulJjjjkw
Simply doesn’t work
Two separate phones, both on iOS 16.4, both running the latest version of the app. The app splash screen displays and the app closes without opening to a usable screen. Disappointed 11 year old because he wanted to fly drones with his dad.EcogeekTN
