  • Best one yet

This is by far the best one I have played. I have been buying for years. Keep them coming like this.

I don’t know why we get so few games from this developer, Grandma Studios, who give us exciting and virtually flawless gameplay. I nitpick over every game, as all of you know, and I enjoyed this game so much I won’t even deduct stars for any minor quibble.
You could customize settings. The graphics were fabulous and some were hauntingly gorgeous. The cut-scenes were extremely well-executed and did not exhibit a lot of pixelation, such as we might see from a Domini game. The storyline was unusual to a point and kept my interest, and the gameplay was so addictive that I didn’t want to stop in order to sleep. We were given a journal which stored notes in order to keep track of the nuances of the game. Tasks were regularly updated. There was an excellent marked teleport map to transport you instantaneously between locations, and it won’t tell you when there are other tasks at a different location until you complete all tasks at the previous location. Collectibles were only marbles this time and they weren’t impossible to find. There was no useless running around. At each location there was a plethora of tasks to accomplish, and when you completed a location it was checked off. Inventory was labeled and there were complex items to assemble.
I don’t understand why certain people felt this game was dated. We don’t need fancy gimmicks in order for a game to be fantastic; we just need an interesting storyline and great gameplay, and that is exactly what we got. The HO scenes had variation and some were unusual and similar to what you might see from a developer such as Mad Head or Elephant Games (the cube HO, the one with the banners, the one with the clouds). There was an alternative match-3 puzzle as well. As far as puzzles and games, many were rotational, some were games of dexterity, and still others were codes, but surely there was a puzzle or game to suit everyone who played. I am not big on rotational games, but I don’t just skip them because by working on them you increase brainpower and retrain your brain! This game was lengthy with the bonus adventure and a second little mini-adventure as a reward for finding all the marbles. This game ran very smoothly and I didn’t encounter any glitches. By the way, I play in silence and the sound did not remain on!
In any event I didn’t want to finish this game because I was so enthralled by it!
I am leaving my review at 5 stars, which is a rarity for me. BigFish, you need to persuade Grandma Studios to develop more games for us. They are as fabulous as Elephant and even Mad Head! This game will be a tough act to follow, and will we even get a new game tomorrow? My gut is telling me that we will, but not which developer. We are overdue for a Domini game. We are also due for the new release from Five BN Uk, the second installment in the Legacy series, but I don’t know why it wasn’t released in April, which is when it was supposed to be available on iOS.
Anyway, happy gaming to everyone. I hope you enjoyed this scary and thrilling gem of a game!
  • Didn’t finish the demo

Just not my type of game. Seemed outdated and did not like the theme.
  • Excellent!

Lot’s of clever aspects to this game, with special details and sound effects that put you right in the asylum. I found the storyline to be both intriguing and suspenseful. In some of the hidden object scenes there were multiple phases to them, which were very creative. Puzzles had some challenge to them as well. Loved this one and found it very captivating!
Smooth gameplay and experienced no glitches or lag times.
Great Job developers!!! Fellow gamers: Be sure and give this one a try and buy. Great Entertainment!!!! 🤩
Looking forward to our next release - Keep these kind of games coming! 😁 Happy Gaming Everyone

P.S. Fellow Gamers: While waiting for our next release check out a free episode of a game called Adera. It is a different style, but quite an adventure. 1st episode is free, other episodes 3.99 each.
  • Asylum

I am impressed how creative the games are getting. I played the “Gold Miner game last week. I was so impressed by the art work I went ahead and bought this game before trying. And it is good. I am a Ravenhearst fan so of
Course I’d like the asylum theme. More later
  • Dated

I have played other Whispered Secrets games. This one had an okay plot but is dated and the format has not been updated. I did not enjoy this one as much as the others. Play demo before you purchase.
  • Great game

This game uses unique interaction in the HOs unlike seen by other developers. Absolutely delightful and deserves a rare 5 star rating from me.
  • This Flame Is Burning Hot!

This latest sequel, in my opinion, is the best in the series — it is outright amazing! The technique in which the story line is conveyed is ingenious. This developer did a splendid job of creating surreal worlds of spine-tingling fantasy, each with its own surprises along the way. The exploration of the eerie asylum, while discovering the sinister secrets behind the "outcast" patients, keeps me in steady apprehension and intrigue. The acquired reading materials thoroughly convey the backstory; I love the twist of taking the Rorschach Test. I am entertained by occasionally choosing between certain actions that affect the gameplay.

The chilling sound effects — such as the unsettling whispers and the creepy songs of children — signify warnings of evil yet to come. I am particularly fascinated by the imaginative artwork, together with the eye-popping animations that jump out and scare me.

The HOSs thematically suit the nightmarish-like ambiance. I love the one in which you rotate the cube — depicting scenes of the town — around to locate the items; and at the same time, you place those items back into the cube's scenes. Some of the puzzles cleverly reflect the objectives in progress, such as resuscitating the keeper in the asylum. I appreciate how I could choose a mode of operation for some. The singular set of collectibles is easy to spot, but at times, it could blend into the background.

Folks, this game is a rare gem in which the exposition of the plot, together with the wondrous creativity of the gameplay, come together cohesively to make for a spellbinding experience. It should not be passed up. I strongly suggest you give the free trial a spin. I rate this game a rare 5 stars.
  • Sound controls don’t work

Just a heads up - if you are like me and play with the volume turned off in game options, the music and ambient sounds stay on - LOUD.
