Description of TrainCentric

Think you can count in your head and that's enough? Think again. You will quickly realize that this app is your missing gym tool.  Build muscle faster with TrainCentric, the #1 tempo (time under tension) training app. It allows you to fully customize exercises and workouts with adjustable muscle contraction tempos, reps, sets, and rest. The majority of the people lifting weights neglect to put emphasis on each movement and instead try and lift the heaviest weight that they can. When using TrainCentric you may have to lower the weight you're using, but we can guarantee you'll feel the burn more than when using heavier weights. Building muscle is a complex process with many important variables, and TrainCentric creates consistency across your workouts by keeping more of those variables constant. The app will provide you with a standardized tempo for each rep, allowing you to focus on activating the muscle rather than counting reps or tempos. By letting TrainCentric take care of the counting, you can focus on controlling the weight and ensuring you are getting the most out of each rep and set. TrainCentric will transform your current workouts by simply increasing the time under tension and putting more emphasis on each of your muscle contractions. Features: • Tempo training • Reps, sets, and rest tracking • Custom workouts • Unique HIIT trainer • History tracking - track every variable that goes into your workout and see progression • Audio cues, be guided through each rep by sound • 40+ exercises to choose from • Strength, hypertrophy, and HIIT programming The app utilizes time under tension (TUT) and progressive overload allowing you to get the most out of every rep and maximize muscle gain and retention.

  • Neglected ?

    Has this app been neglected?
  • Game changer

Even though this app hasn’t been updated in 3 years (I believe they are revamping the app for private healthcare usage) this app has changed my relationship to training!

The prompts are so good, it’s very intuitive as you can customise exercises to no end as well as including AMRAP sets.

The choice of verbal countdown, contraction clicks, adding reps and inclusion of tempo is awesome. It would be great to be able to record when a set isn’t completed because it happens sometimes in training!

It’s only 4 stars instead of 5 because creating custom exercises has a bug of not confirming creation.

I love this app and gym bros ask me what I’m using after seeing my form and my phone animation lol
