Logs me out

Continually logs me out and then loses all of the sessions I had favorited. Pretty frustrating! I’ve started carrying around a piece of paper with my sessions.

Poor reflection

Unlike previous iterations, this version of the ALA app has stopped working, removed part of my information or required me to delete it and reinstall it entirely more than half a dozen times during the first three days of the conference.

App crashes and logged me out

I’ve seen worse apps at conferences but the ALA app logged me out after 3 days of the conference erasing all my favorites sessions and saved data. I had to look up my registration number to log in again. It also crashed pretty frequently. Usually closing it and opening it again did the trick but this last time it erased all my saved data.

Hi Darcyiris, I'm sorry to hear that the app logged you out and forgot your data. Often times at large conferences like this one, when so many people are all using the same wifi the app cannot load or synch properly which may cause it to crash/ log you out. Please visit the app help desk at the conference and we can hopefully help resolve some of the issues you're having. Or give tech support a call at 410-638-9239

Good but slow at times

I like that I can select events and add personal meetings. Kudos for the later, since that puts everything in the same spot.

I like that I can search the schedule in different ways and that is helpful. I really like that I can take notes in the app.

I don’t like how long it takes the app to start up. That is a real problem when trying to figure out where the next event is.

Thanks to ALA and the creator/supporter of this app. I think it was vital for navigating the conference. I just wish it was a bit better.

When it takes a long time for the app to load, it is likely slow wifi causing the app to take longer than usual to pull in all of it's info. Useful, but buggy at the worst times

I nearly missed a session because the app kept glitching. When I opened My Schedule, it kept glitching back and forth between days, not letting me scroll down to the time slot I needed. Because of this, I couldn’t see a session I’d scheduled and almost missed it. I suppose that should teach me to write down my schedule elsewhere, but I’d rather have consistent access to my schedule than learn a Very Important Lesson.

Not ready for prime time

The app will not show my schedule or scroll through the agenda. My screen just keeps bouncing. It logged me out and won’t let me log back in. I called for technical support and was given the option of leaving a message. I left the message over an hour ago and haven’t heard back yet.

Keeps making me log on

Why can’t you stay logged in to this app? Otherwise it’s good, but the front end is annoying. And every time I’m forced to log in again I have to go through the steps of updating (?) my personal info. Really needs to be improved
