Love this

Best thing to come around. Don’t know why people are complaining games run smooth and whoever said you can’t use the backbone controller is a liar because I use mine all the time and no issue. Keep up the great work devs

BIG Disapointment

I am a lover of retro games and when I saw this happy days unfortunately i had to subscribe to test the games so i was ok with that but nothing works from the control point of view?? What am i missing I am playing on iPad Pro M4 so no issue with power but the screen controls don’t work so I connected my PS4 controller to iPad it connected and ran a game the PS4 Controller started the game but nothing else still no control it only started the game so I connected iPads to the new iPad keyboard and nothing works from that ?? How are we supposed to play this if its not supported can you please help?

Not worth it

Don’t waste your money it’s too laggy the games freeze a lot

basically useless

this app is useless unless you have money, i just wanted to play some retro games and i have to pay i don’t know, $10 to play pac-man
and pong, which are games that are about 40+ years old and it’s not only for globally known arcade games, you also have to pay for trashy games that you would see on those cheap arcade gameboy looking things on amazon. waste of cash, waste of time, and a stupid way to play retro videogames

Awesome Product!

First, the subscription is very reasonable (and it’s been around awhile, so you shouldn’t be surprised by it). Second, the app works perfectly with zero crashes. Finally, BackBone controller support is also perfect, and much easier than on screen controls for many games. I’d love to see an Apple TV version, but I’m thrilled this is finally on iOS!

If there is room for improvement, maybe making the thumbnails in the menu a bit larger? It’s kinda hard to see each game on iPhone.

Beware - Subscription Service Only & Seems Scammy

So while this app is free, you can’t play a thing unless you cough up at least $5 for a subscription. Without so much as having trials games (because if you have access to 1,300 licensed arcade games, how do you not offer a demo?) so you don’t even know how they play, this seems like a scam.

Even if it isn’t, y’all don’t just waltz up and ask for money out the gate without giving us a chance to try your product. Hard pass.

Poor controller support

Would love to rate this higher because the library is pretty impressive. I’m just upset that I can’t play anything with the Backbone one and retro games with touch controls just feel so unsatisfying

Great selection of games

Impressed with what big games are here. R-type is my all time favourite, but also old Lucasarts games like Sam and Max and some great arcade shmups too.
