Description of Math Manipulatives
Math Manipulatives uses fish manipulatives in ten frames to assist students in solving addition and subtraction problems. In the addition games, students are able to count out the number of fish they need and place them in a ten frame to discover the answer. The subtraction games begin with fish already placed in the ten frame and the student removes fish to help them solve the problem.
Both vertical and horizontal addition and subtraction problems are included. You can choose the range of numbers used in the addition and subtraction math problems. Enter the student’s name to track their progress. An unlimited number of students can be added.
Math Manipulatives is easy to use but also challenges students to extend their thinking by using the fish manipulatives to solve the math equations. The fun graphics keeps students engaged and excited to learn.
