Love It!

This app is perfect for my needs. It’s simple enough, yet includes all aspects needed of an invoice. Helps me to keep track of what I am owed and who has paid. Has definitely aided me in becoming more responsible with money and keeping track of jobs. Love it!

Very happy with this App I Highly recommend it

Functions well, actually does what it says it does and it’s not buggy. I’ve been looking for an app that does not require ongoing fees and where I can pay once only and done. I prefer storing my data locally or on iTunes if needed and this does it. Very happy!

Fantastic app, well worth the cost

I’ve used bee invoicing for a few years now and so I feel like I have a pretty good idea about its strengths and weaknesses. I’m an attorney with a solo practice, and so I need to track invoices, time, and expenses primarily. I also need to track payments against invoices, whether they have been paid. As far as compiling invoices, I need something that takes my time spent on projects and automatically populates invoices so I don’t have to spent time manually calculating everything.

Bee invoicing does all that and more. You can also use a custom logo on your invoices, and there’s an iPad and iPhone app as well so I can log my time on the go. It does things that apps 4-5 times the cost do worse.

The only problem I’ve had was that my iCloud sync got crosswise once and I had to restore data from a backup, which was a bit of a headache, but I’ll say support was very responsive.

If you’re a small business owner and not looking to spend hundreds per year on a subscription service and that’s pretty easy and mostly just works, can’t go wrong here.

iOS Does not sync with Mac

I have had the Mac version 2 years now and had zero issues with it. I purchased the iOS version for my phone and nothing but issues. The biggest issues is that the iOS app will not sync with the information on the Mac. iCloud is logged into same account on both devices, still will not sync. HelpBot is useless along with help pages. I have contacted customer service via email with zero help so far. Very frustrated with not being able to sync the iOS and Mac. If customer service helps straighten this issue out, I will add to the review and change rating appropriately.

****UPDATE****
I have finally been able to sync iOS and MAC. It took some time having to clear my iCloud data on both devices along with turning my iCloud off and on.
Help email address can only be found by going to Feedback. Their HelpBot was useless to me. Help pages could have offered better guidance and maybe some screenshots.
I hope since my devices are synced now that my experience with the phone app will be as good as the one on my MAC.

Hi there, please get in touch and we will help to sort your sync issue. We endeavour to respond to all emails within 48 hours. You can contact us via the iOS app by going to Settings/Feedback (and I will check in case your email has gone to a spam/junk folder). Also, if you have already followed the steps given by the HelpBot to no avail...one thing to check is that you are running the latest version of both the Mac & iOS apps. And you can try clicking/tapping on the "Delete iCloud data" button next to the sync switch. This will clear the iCloud cache and allow it to sync from fresh. But do get in touch, we are happy to help.

Would love a few tweaks. I like the app

Our business takes prepayments for monthly service at times. I would like to be able to accept a payment for an item that hasn’t been invoiced yet. I don’t see that option in the help section.

I would also like to be able to have the customer’s phone number in their contact info.

Could we add a feature where payment QR codes could be added at the bottom like a logo?

Stretched out iPhone app

Please don’t make this up just a stretched out iPhone app... there is too much wasted time and screen real estate. The “tab” selection on the right side doesn’t have to stretch all the way across the entire ipad screen, let the selected panel take up the unused 2/3rds of the screen to the right so users don’t have to wait for the screen to slide over every time a new panel is selected. Current implementation just seems lazy.

Great App But Needs Watch Support!

I love the app and I love that it can integrate with my MacBook but it would be nice if someone at home adds or edits details to my MacBook versions jobs, customers and etc that it not only notifies my iphone version through sync but also brings up notifications on my watch to make it even better than it already is. I don’t always have my iPhone at the ready but my watch is always on my wrist. Even if this were a paid add on like Time Tracker I’d be more than willing to pay for it as I’m sure others with the same need would.

One of the best invoicing apps out there. And love the way you can add hours to a client from mobile device. No hours go unbilled. Keep up the good work.

Gave a five start rating but one flaw: anytime I try to import a client from address book it crashes and no import :(
