The ADS make this game insufferable!
I used to use this app everyday as I found it wonderful to reduce stress. The quality, colours, gems, designs etc are all absolutely fantastic. BUT I am now extremely put off as there is an ad every few seconds! You click on a design, there is an ad, use the magic gem, another ad, finish the design, still another ad, access another page and you guessed it, a bloody ad! It’s infuriating and I get even more stressed and annoyed when I play it. I considered paying for it at one point just to get rid of the ads but the monthly cost is atrociously expensive for an app so another downside. So disappointed and I don’t think I will be using it anymore. Sort it out Dazzly!Show lessvenuslacroix
Love this game, but the sheer amount of ads is tiresome
As the title says, I really love this game. I play multiple times a day. The graphics and detail are absolutely stunning.
There is no doubt all of this development would have cost a small fortune and ad revenue is a substantial way to have a return on that time and energy. I feel the same about the subscription. I did considered it, but there is no way I could include that cost in my budget.
I would happily play with a banner of advertising at the bottom of each dazzly or purchase an ad free version for a lower priced one-off cost.Show lessla_la_land_79

This was a 5 star app for me...I used to love it....now not so much...I understand we need to watch ads as thye help with your costs but having to watch one every single time I start a piece of artwork and when I finish it is super annoying especially when the ads are the same ones OVER and OVER . There is no way I will pay the huge monthly subscription fee. If there was a one off buy it now price I would definitely buy it...but alas this will now become one of those apps I slowly stop playing until I eventually delete it due to too many adsShow lessCrazymonkey34625
Loved it but the last update broke it
Been playing for a while now and I’ve loved it. It’s had it’s up and downs but eventually it seemed everything was getting better. Then with the last update something broke. I can’t unlock anything. It just shows me a loading circle, like it’s trying to load an ad but nothing ever happens.... I tried to play with data and WiFi turned off and it just shows me the same load icon. :/ Really sad.... I’ve done hundreds of pictures and now I haven’t been able to get any new ones in days. That also means I’ve missed the last several days of the events. That’s another change that’s really no good.... If you don’t go unlock the new event pics within 24 hours then it locks behind the pay wall (which we all know is ridiculously expensive...). At the point this app is worthless to me unless something is fixed. Sad to know all the time I put into it is useless. I can’t even get to the pics I’ve already done. Fun, but a couple issues
Dazzly is a gorgeous and fun take on the color-by-number genre. Seriously, there are some beautiful designs in this game and I love seeing how they’ll turn out. There are a couple of issues for me though, the biggest being performance problems. Lots of people have mentioned these in other reviews and it seems like the developers just brush them off. On my iPhone XS with a fine battery and only the game running and nothing else, I lost 10% battery in 13 minutes. My phone gets very hot while playing, and the game graphics lag more and more until I close the game and let it cool down. It’s not a good experience to have to close the game for a couple minutes between pictures.
Second issue is cost. I’m just not really a fan of the subscription model (I’d rather just pay for the game once and be good to go), and this subscription in particular seems pretty expensive; $14 a month unless you pay for a whole year at a time. I can’t justify paying as much for a coloring app as I do for fully featured computer or console games. The free version has way too many ads, but I could deal with that if the performance issues were dealt with. Still a stunning game though and I hope these things improve because I really want to keep playing.Show lessviolet24

Great Game!
Great game, I love doing the pictures and it’s really satisfying, however, I think it’s a bit unfair how u have to watch an add to collect th gems after... like I understand for starting a picture but to collect Jems as well? No. Pls fix this but I love the app!Mikayla Neiman

The ads you see for this game?
They don’t lie. The visuals, the gorgeous gemstones, the music, everything is fantastic.
The gems are all based on real stones and gem cute with a cute collection gimmick and very impressive interactive lighting on the gems.
The animations on each gem and the decently consistent frame-rate dazzles me.
The swipe to colour mechanics are great for even larger areas and the hint system is a god send.
The only negative thing about this app is the pay wall of a subscription to unlock everything...
Most images require this, but even those that don’t make you watch a video first... collecting the gems you used to make the image forced you to watch an add as well.
The insistence that the next suggested image to colour is a “unique” opportunity annoys me but is good for streamlining the process.
There are new “free” (watch an ad first) images every 24 hours, so you won’t just colour yourself into a dead end, but the amount of stuff not blocked by the paywall is finite until the next day...
TL;DR:
So, yeah. Pleasantly surprised, very happy, but sadly there is either never ending ads or a paywall...Show lesspokemonfan2001
