Asked to pay for it twice
Response from developer
There is a 14 day free trial for the app. It sounds like this customer started the free trial and then mistakenly assumed that when the free trial expired that they needed to purchase again. The way the app is set up, LuckGrib along with Apple make it impossible for a customer to pay twice for the app. If you were to find a way to attempt this, the App Store would refuse and instead restore your earlier purchase (there is of course an easier way to restore an earlier purchase, such as when you are running the app on multiple devices.) This customer is mistaken.

Trouble downloading
Response from developer
This comment is incorrect with respect to requiring an internet connection. The app supports offshore downloads via Iridium GO and the RedPort Optimizer, which is able to connect via a variety of satellite phones. This is described in the offshore.luckgrib.com site. A brilliant Apo for sailors and excellent value
It’s great to select a larger area than needed to see how the weather is moving.
The refresh feature is awesome to easily update the forecast as the days pass.

Very impressed
This checks all the boxes
My only fear is the developer will give up on this app since it’s a pretty small market. Please keep the updates coming!!

Thanks! You're right that this is a small market. Thanks for helping me out by adding your review! Also, don't forget to tell all your sailor friends about the app :-)
Fantastic

Thanks for your review. Sorry to hear that your 14 day free trial of Weather Routing expired while you were on passage. For what it's worth, there is a short "Offshore Checklist" at luckgrib.com which goes through some of these things. The GO! is a pretty remarkable device, so easy to use and generally fast enough for this purpose (a little faster would be nice of course.) The RedBox is currently unsupported, so the device pair "Iridium + RedBox" not working is not too surprising. Congrats on your passage!
