  • Partial mutes my music

Anytime I start a work out it turns down my music significantly to tell me to warm up and leaves it at that level. I turned off all audio queues and it still does it. It won’t turn it all the way back up until work out is down. So I’m stuck at like 30% volume in downtown. I also hit finish work out trying to trouble shoot and it just ended the day. So now I couldn’t track my 2nd day and could not get it to restart that day. It messed with my music and you don’t mess with my music lol Foe the cost I don’t find this to be worth it at all.

  • Rip off

The app is decent. But do not pay for a subscription. Even after paying for the subscription, I am still often and forced to wait five minutes for a subscription ad to pop up for something I’ve already paid for. The only reason to subscribe is to not have to wait 5-10 just to see an ad and more often than not I still must wait. You get nothing extra from subscribing.

You should not being receiving ads for anything on a paid subscription as one of the great features of the subscription is the removal of ads. Please reach out to our customer support team at support@bickster.com and we will help resolve your issue.
  • Needs Work

I like the layout of the app and the overall function. Great design! That’s why you get stars. I’m cancelling the free trial though, because the app doesn’t appear to actually work. It won’t update with data from my Apple Watch. It only tracks when I’m actually carrying my phone. Maybe that’s the sole purpose of the app? Would definitely be a stellar app if I could use it and track with my watch. Keeping working on it- you’re gonna have a good app someday! :)

So to answer you question, the application was designed to be used with the phone in your pocket, hand or armband. The application will not support the tracking of your steps on your Apple Watch and then sync that into your application. You can however use your Apple Health step tracking as a means of tracking your steps, and since that is tied in your Apple Health, that may be a more roundabout solution. However, like we said, it doesn't support straight use of the Apple Watch. We appreciate your feedback and please always be on the lookout for updates as we are always striving to make Walkster the best app it can be!
  • Frustrating

I just downloaded this app and want to try it out before committing to a membership plan. I don’t mind the ads, I understand people need to be paid, but it shows me an ad and then when I hit the X to close it nothing happens. This has happened three times now and I have to close out the app and go back in because I can’t get out of the ad. If you can’t get something so simple to function right then what else is wrong with this app? Also, you keep bombarding me with signing up for a plan every time I tap on anything and that’s where to unclosable ads are. Are you purposely making this unusable for people using the free version?

That shouldn't be happening. Please reach out to our customer support team at support@bickster.com and we can figure out why this is happening. Please be assured that if you a free customer or a paying customer, we want Walkster to be the best application it possibly can be that will inspire you to get up and get walking.
  • Steps counter

I was using a Samsung phone and was using Samsung health. When it was time to upgrade my phone my son talk me into getting a iPhone. And I went looking in the App Store for a similar app and found this one and so far it is really good.
  • Great App But

This app is great but I purchased the yearly plan and was asked to purchase it again, so I would really like to get my money back and make sure that the plan is working continually without asking me to pay for it again.
  • Missed the mark on all walking

This is not remotely geared toward indoor walking. The main screen picks up on your steps but doesn’t track on a treadmill. I walked the first two days of a challenge and it said I had a 48 minute mile and only went .25 miles. I understand it may be geared more towards outdoor walking but it’s been raining for the last week, so even if that we’re the case, if you had to do indoor walking to stay on track when it rains, it’s not accurate.

So Walkster does have a treadmill mode. When you keep your phone in your pocket while on the Treadmill, it will activate Treadmill mode. Treadmill mode activates automatically when Walkster detects steps are being logged but you are in a stationary position. Please note that sometimes Treadmill will become deactivated if the phone becomes locked or goes to sleep while on the treadmill. If you require any assistance while using Treadmill mode or have any other questions regarding the application please reach out to support@bickster.com
  • Annoying

If you don’t want to pay the plan it’s worthless. I didn’t even entertain spending the money because just trying to use it for one day you are forced to watch pop up ads for 3 seconds at a time before you can even close it followed by the constant pop up to select a paid plan.
  • This app has potential…

But it isn’t accurate. Everyday I walk the same route and the distance us mostly different every day.
  • Not really a good app if you don’t pay

So honestly I think the app has potential but I think you only get the good end of it if you pay for the subscription. There are endless ads when trying to start a challenge. I don’t recommend, I think the app Steps is better granted they don’t have challenges but it’s does count your steps so really you can just setup your own challenges. That’s what I get for trying to find another app to really see if the step counts are in fact correct.
