Work well once you implement this fix
I also had the issue where it wouldn’t work until I turned off cellular data.
Just what I needed!
App Works set up was easy and I’ve got it to work. But the Video is reversed and it’s throwing me off.

Cellular Data needs to be turned off
It wasn’t mentioned in the instructions that it needs to turn off the cellular data for iPhone. Been trying for several minutes and it won’t connect. Finally after turning it off, voila it’s connected. The camera gets so hot.
Useless
Save your money. App does not work. Instructions make no sense. Does not power up. I’m returning this.
I felt ‘special’ for a minute.
So in addition to the whole cellular data off part the other most important part is PLUG THE CAMERA INTO THE WIFI DONGLE lol. I will freely admit to not doing this at first. After I did worked awesome.
A toy for some, useful for others
The optimal focus range is from approximately 1.5 inches to 2.5 inches. This means you cannot use it to look up your nose or similar restricted area, but it could do an adequate job of inspecting your teeth and throat. This also means that you cannot clearly see anything outside of this range. It does appear to magnify the view of what you can look at.
With the almost 12 foot stiff cable, you should be able to push it quite far into plumbing or under and behind appliances to locate objects. It would be extremely difficult to find objects buried in sofa crevices. Auto mechanics might find this very useful for inspecting inside engines.
The main drawback of the stiff cable is that it cannot be easily rotated, so the software has an image rotate function.
The tip does get hot when the lights are on full power. The lights don’t fully turn off.

Worthless. Don’t waste your time or money
Bought the WiFi microscope for this app on Amazon. App connected once then never again. I tried all the tricks listed here and online. Nothing worked. Then I gave up, returned the microscope and deleted the app.
Excellent! Needs audio for video though
It’ll be perfect if the app recorded video with sound from the phone’s microphone. That way you can narrate the video you’re recording.

Cellular Data needs to be turned off
On iPhone, go in to Cellular in Settings and turn of the data for the app. That’s the only way it connects. Works great after that!
