Always something never nothing but good for quick money
I actually liked gigsmart for the convenience of it being same day pay, but now it’s like they get to approve the money within a week or days when the same day job is sometimes asked to come in on the same day and I never had problems with the first company I ever worked with but definitely having problems now. Not only that jobs are so far it’s sometimes in a different state. I like the app for the most part but don’t advertise same day pay if they have days to give you money your expecting the same day. As well as when asking for a certain amount it doesn’t always change to the hourly rate you got accepted for when bidding I did a job for 20 an hour and it’s still saying they are giving me 18 after being approved for the 20. Idk if it’s a glitch but if it can’t be fixed I’ll be reaching out. Thank you.

Almost 100% diligent/reliable
I joined GigSmart about two weeks ago and at first, I was a little confused as to what work was actually available through the app because I wasn’t getting hired for any of the bids I was submitting. Also, there weren’t that many gigs to choose from at the time so it was somewhat discouraging at first.
However, I get a notification on my phone that a company had offered me a shift with Designed Goods the following Friday night and I jumped right on it! It’s low key a bit of a process til you’re confirmed for the shift but I knew by Tues that I was officially scheduled.
The only reason why I have the app a 4 star review is because, even though they prompted me with multiple instructions to click “en route” when I leave for the drive there , and the manager briefed me on what to do when I arrived and who to call. But the only thing that she/GigSmart left out….. was to inform me that we are required to clock in on the app as soon as we started working.
Well, long story short, I worked the entire shift plus 35 extra mins to finish what I physically could manage with my foot. But I looked at the app, and it said the gig was completed since it was half hour past the scheduled quitting time. And that I couldn’t edit my timesheet. But I emailed support and it only took a day to fix! Thanks GigFam! And Designed Goods, see you guys for next round!

Actually pretty awesome
They are very understanding they know life happens as long as you keep in communication with them.I juggle 2 to 3 sometimes four other temp agency apps and gig smart is the best one by far I’ve been getting most of my shifts from them and sometimes you don’t even have to wait till the next day to get paid I just did a shift an hour agoAnd the employer approved the timesheet promptly which then enabled me to be able to transfer into my bank account instantly so I only had to wait an hour after the end of my shift…No other one of them agency apps does that for you…Thanks gig smart

GREAT APP FOR GIGS & SIDE HUSTLES!
I have applied for and gotten work with two local companies several different times. The jobs are great, very flexible with your schedule, you get to choose your desired shift and pay arrives within 24 hours to four days later, depending on what day of the week you work. When you’re picking your job, it gives you a list of requirements and expectations, and after your hired list again to remind you of what’s needed for the job ahead gives you directions/how to get to your place of work and clock in and out and take your breaks through the app - Couldn’t be easier! It’s just a great app - i use it all the time, it is a great help on supplementing my income! Definitely would highly recommend!

Pay me!!!!
I mostly like this app overall, however there’s one thing that really annoys me and that is that you have to wait up to five days for someone to approve your shift so that you can get paid. This doesn’t make any sense because one theyre tracking you and they can tell exactly where you are so they know if you were at the job the whole time. and two they automatically stop the clock at exactly the time your shift is supposed to end. So why I have to wait up to five days to be able to get paid doesn’t make any sense. Especially considering that I work in St. Louis. The main contact person is from Kansas City. That’s a 4-5 Hour Dr. away from here. It’s literally on the complete opposite side of the state. So I’m waiting for someone to approve my hours That isn’t even around here. How does that make any sense? None of the other apps I’ve gotten jobs from do this. Most of them you can get paid as soon as you’re done working. The whole reason I pick up shifts is because I am broke and I need money. So that part is frustrating. PAY ME!!!!!!! Also, the radius does not work on the job listings. I will put in 5 miles and it will show jobs that are over an hour away.

For the life of me I can’t figure out why this app has so many 5 stars ratings if every comment I have read is about all the problems no pay no customer service and many more . Is this app fixed . Cause so many bad complaints but all 5 stars just seems like there doing there own thing for people who don’t pay attention to comments . Shame thought this was a good app till I started reading then it’s one disaster after another. I must of read 30-40 complaints all different about them sir complaints uncommon with like2 positive seems to me all the rating should be 1-2 stars ⭐️ if there lucky with very few 5 stars like the complaints say no customer service except 1 lady had someone walk her threw it with a phone number this must be company written 30 ish no customer service complaints they can’t get no one to one that gets a total run threw I have not he’d of helping videos like Uber that answers all your questions !

RACIST
this app is either racist or discriminatory because it had been over 6 months that I have the app - it offers a lot of opportunities but it’s impossible to obtain a gig - you apply, they remove you 1 day before the shift screwing up your entire weekly schedule- GIGS applied to doesn’t get respond after a traquets even on the day you supposed to work - it still says you applied but no respond- this app and their companies are violating the laws because they ignore that we make ourself available but just to be used for using the app but no gigs are offered- I believe the people posting the gigs are picking people based on race - this app needs a private investigation regarding their practices because it makes no sense that the gig don’t even respond to inquiring if willing to work. In one sense the App is stupid

This is a great side hustle! Don’t trip too much if you feel as if you’re not being paid an hourly rate that you’re worth. The way to overcome that is to show up on time of course to your first gig, work impressively, so that you get call back for repeated assignments. Each day after working, paying the 3% for an immediate transfer, actually translates as an additional four dollars and a half to $6.25. Today was the sixth assignment for the same employer, and he asked me if I wanted to work full-time. No sir… I do not! However, I do want multiple assignments that fit my schedule, and I receive immediate pay, which increases my motivation to work hard and work constantly without being tied down to a full-time job that conflicts with my schedule. This is the best gig app that is on the market in the area that I live!

Assistance? NO not from this app
Unfortunately, getting assistance with this app is not possible. I have been waiting for a month to receive a response to my inquiries via the in-app form, and there is never anybody available on the chat feature. I am unable to apply for work because it tells me my social security number belongs to another worker. I have asked on three occasions for assistance with this a absolutely no response as come. I do not understand how this company does business. If they could get zero stars from me they would. I don't think they should be trusted with any personal information if they can't even respond to a simple question.
Also imagine committing to a job without knowing your final destination because the app withholds the exact address. You can only get a travel time estimate but you don't even have an intersection to know if your will have to walk a mile from public transportation or not. A very poor way to do business These basics make this company a joke.
