I have had so many issues with this app! And now they are just ignoring me. 12 days ago, I worked I worked a shift and I was there for an extra 3.5 hours. When I tried to adjust my time, it would only let me add 2 hours. So I wrote to support and I have still had no response from them. Then, 7 days ago, I worked an extra 2.5 hours. I couldn’t add my full time and even though they force you to “always allow” full access to your location and I clocked in for my shift, they marked me as a no show and suspended me. I already had a shift booked for the next night, which I worked an extra 3.5 hours again, which I could not add to my time. I have been writing to them about all of these things for days and days and I have not heard anything back from them at all. So now I am missing over 16 hours from my payments and they are just ignoring me. And my account is also suspended even though I did not miss my shift like they are trying to say I did. I searched online for any other way to get in touch with them and found 2 different emails. I wrote to both of these but all I received back were messages that said those emails are not monitored and to contact them on the app, but that is clearly not working!?!? This is all ridiculous! They should have some other way to get ahold of them when they are ignoring my messages on the app. Especially when I am not being paid for all of the hours I already worked.Show lessDeveloper Response

Good concept. The app aesthetics are nice. App can process slowly. You do have to look around to find things. I have been in customer service all my life and am an artist at heart. It frustrates me when companies don’t put enough thought into the user’s experience/ journey. The wire-framing for this app was clearly rushed. For instance, the tutorial video is listed under training, which is in small writing, and listed under “shifts.” In fact, there were a lot of things under the “shifts” tab that were irrelevant. The road map for the app is not well done. Also, they say you can chat with someone, but every time I go, there’s no one to chat with. I think they only have chat support available when an employee is available, but they don’t mention when that employee is available. Today, I found something very inappropriate that someone added to the skills list. I wanted to notify them. Unfortunately, there is no chat available. I do like how they tell you the total you will make. You get approved fast for jobs and can start making money right away, which is awesome. Another plus is you can offer the ability to work permanently. Go to “work preferences” which is under “settings.” I’m really upset about the app design. No availability in East Bay right now. The app is ok once the company FINALLY updates your information. They say up to 72 hours but I’ve had “applications” that haven’t been processed in MONTHS!!! Right now as we speak I’m waiting for them to approve ONE picture so I can have access to the shifts I HAVE ALREADY WORKED AND BEEN APPROVED FOR IN THE PAST. I found steady employment so I stopped using Instawork WHICH AFFECTED MY ACCOUNT NEGATIVELY (pretty dumb considering most of us use this app to fill in gaps of employment) you would think an option to verify permanent positions would be offered to avoid the aforementioned from happening BUT that’s just too close to having common sense. Customer service is NON EXISTENT which means that if you have a problem IT WILL NEVER GET RESOLVED. This platform is asking for more and more out of its users…”give us leads” “give us your time” “give us your very best!” Yet this company offers mediocrity and subpar performance in return. Laughable if you ask me! The users of this app are awesome people who are dedicated to the tasks at hand. We are frikin committed! Is it too much to ask for a company to do what it says it will do at the CAPACITY IT PROMISES TO DO IT IN?!! Like, can you walk and chew gum at the same time?!!! So you should be able to provide an EXCELLENT service and EARN the money that you stuff your pockets with 🙄 no ethics, no integrity, plenty of greed and unkept promises though!Show lessDeveloper Response
