Problem Configuring Your App 🙈
Since updating the app I can’t even open it let alone use it…. All I get now is 👉There Was A Problem Configuring Your App👈 tried deleting & reinstalling but still the same problem 😏

Since the version update two days ago now, SOT live will not work on my iPhone 14. Can’t even contact support because you have to contact them through the app so hope SOTLive looks at these reviews so they know that the app is not working. Keeps coming up with
There was a problem configuring the app and to refresh.

Update of app to version 9.3.2 now it doesn't work at all. Just get front page asking to press refresh but nothing happens. Yet another case of if it ain't broke don't fix it!Stokie33

Problems
App works ok but old news is on to long also some news is not even in the news papers area ?I recently sent a email stating that I can read the reader’s reviews the reply I got was quite short and abrupt saying that they couldn’t help me as they don’t have my email address,I found this rather strange as they replied to my email which was my address.Show lesshusbano
Unable to see comments
This app is shocking. Since the last two updates I have been unable to see any comments on articles, which to be honest are probably the only entertaining part of it. Sort it out!stokieoaty
It’s pointless
Breaking news doesn’t clear after the news is every where, 2 days later still breaking news, traffic , flashes live , look at the major incident that happened yesterday .
It cover stories from anywhere rather than just stoke on Trent , and who decided that the people who have been potters for years are now stokies? Really?
Save yourself the pain and find a proper news app this one is just junkShow less26SJ
Not sure what you’ve done
The new look is a bit hard to navigate from the previous version,
Font size is to big no need for the blocks surrounding each post but nice to see the likes and dislikes back,
Not sure why replies to post need to be read by choice instead of just being there to read,

Hi, commenting has currently been disabled due to the app moving to a new User Account system and security. The team is working hard on a Commenting overhaul and will be turned back on as soon as possible in a future App update. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Dull design, plagued with factual inaccuracies and trolls. So called breaking news can be weeks old and there is a perplexing focus on homes for sale and puff pieces for business owners. It’s a poor app with poor local coverage and disparaging outlook. Newcastle-under-Lyme is under represented and marginalised. Stories appear to be written by people with no local knowledge. Don’t bother!
Absolutely awful, slow, clunky, in fact it’s worse than a government beta app.! The comments rarely load and the scrolling is dreadful. The only thing that seems to load, wether you want them or not, are the ads...
