All the Heroes Rise stories are good, but this is amazing. If you import a save that includes data from both "seasons" you actually get to choose how your two main characters interact. This whole story is just amazing.Nsecc

Absolutely amazing! It runs like a charm and has no problems whatsoever! The story line is amazing with beautiful literature and jaw dropping plot twists. Honestly, the Heroes Rise trilogy and the current Hero Project novels are the best apps available for immersive role playing.diabeticdyke

SPOILERS!!! DON’T READ IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THE ENDING!
Since it’s been a while since I’ve gone through the Versus Series, I totally didn’t catch the bit about the red light until reading the author’s note and that just blew my mind. I had to get that out of the way because it was an amazing twist to realize that the Heroes Rise and Versus series exist side by side.
Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed all of these stories and the way that they balance the combat and storytelling. It’s especially heartening when you know that the decisions you made with the Heroes Trilogy continue on in this series and can be interacted with further albeit in a limited fashion. I will definitely be excited for a Versus 3 to find out what happens with all of these characters that I love so much.

Honestly A Little Disappointing
Unfortunately this game falls short of living up to the original trilogy. The author tried juggling too many plots at once and he kinda dropped the ball. Plot lines get started only to then jump rapidly to something else, not really giving you time to get invested. Not to spoil anything, but the ending ultimately feels pointless as it ends in a way outside of your control (like a Deus Ex Machina). Also none of the characters really feel all that organic in their interactions, they just feel very wooden and forced.Show lessVae85

I waited patiently for Open Season to be released and it was well worth the wait!!!! Now I just want to know what Zachary Sergi is writing next! I guess I’ll just keep rereading this one until then :) Thank you for another amazing novel that sets out to be inclusive of EVERYONE!Ahito2
