Well designed, but...
Two stars because of the practices disclosed in the privacy policy. At time of writing, the policy blatantly states that the developers will hang onto some of my personal data after I delete my account (which requires emailing their support rep?). Very concerning given the nature of this app (security, VPN) that GDPR compliance isn’t on the radar? The FAQs say the service is free, which means they service is .. my data. Sigh.
Happy to update and hopefully reinstall once the basic legal terms are nailed down.

Hi EssaouirAB, thank you for choosing Fyde and taking the time to give us your feedback. We have recently updated our privacy policy, and we are working toward GDPR compliance. (Settings > Privacy Policy) We are not a traditional VPN. We don’t route any traffic to servers and do not receive or retain any user data. Network inspection and removal of malicious domains/IPs and rogue wifi networks happen on the device locally. Additionally, we offer privacy functionality such as blocking of almost all trackers and ads via blacklisting. Fyde is a free application. Exactly what I needed!
My bank account has been hacked twice in the last 5 years, which forced me to keep two separate accounts, one for the income and another for paying out expenses. Annoying - yes...kept me safe - maybe.
What I love about the app is it tells you whether or not it’s safe to go on certain sites.
