  • Exciting, Well-Executed, Beautiful Graphics

One small improvement - please make the Hint and Skip buttons refresh faster - 5 seconds would be perfect!

Finally, a five-star game, following several mediocre games. I didn’t want the game to end!

Collect and find dolls objects in every scene. My favorite thing to play. Many HOPs and puzzles. Morph objects in HOPs. Interactive map and Hint button. Fun!!
  • Not impressed

Way too dark. Why do game developers think they must make every scene dark and hazy?
  • Too dark!

May be a good game but I can’t see anything! Transfer from PC to mobile was not successful
  • I'm Having Nightmares About This Insidious Chiller!

It's obviously not the first time that we've had a car accident and woke up in an unrecognizable and dismal room, not able to remember how we got there. But the plot is well-executed and draws me in enough that I want to stick around to find out how I did. In this game, you won't be dismayed by an abundance of horrifying objects — such as the clichéd creepy doll on the staircase — symbolizing the danger lurking in the shadows. Instead, the settings are adorned with basic furnishings, evoking an organic ambiance. This simplicity instills a true-to-life perception in me while exploring the decrepit and gloomy house. The inky coloration of the environment suits the somber tone of the storyline.

The visuals are still blurry and unpolished; why wouldn't they be? The animations, such as the haunting apparitions, are well executed. The cut-scenes effectively demonstrate suspenseful moments of trepidation and panic.

You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. In custom mode, the teleport map facilitates brisk travel to labeled locations and indicates available actions. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick.

The assorted HOS are typically multi-layered, with varying interactive elements. I like the one in which you manipulate the computer's files to find items from the list. Solving the puzzles is like a pleasant trip down memory lane, to a time when this developer created challenging puzzles. Some of them are tough to crack, resulting in well-spent time and effort. You collect morphing objects in the HOSs; the other collectibles can be well camouflaged into the background due to the dark coloration of the graphics.

I have been noticing a reoccurring glitch regarding inventory usage within this developer's last several games. It takes me several tries to acquire and place inventory items in the scenes, thus indicating that the quality assurance is going downhill. But overall, I am thoroughly enjoying this game; and if you are a fan of this series, you might want to try playing the demo. I rate this game 4 stars.
  • Falls flat for me

Sorry, but the demo for this one seemed uninspired. Sad because I am a fan of this series. However, I won't be purchasing this one.
  • Annoying at best

No care taken in design, logic or sense.
Had to force myself to Finish the demo.
