Sounds good on paper but the app needs to be improved for major bugs
I changed my password but I still can’t sign in. It says that I already have an account but I don’t remember creating one with FastestVPN.011010100
Quite a few frustration but it works… mostly
I purchased the lifetime plan because I cannot be bothered to pay for a subscription service. There have been a couple of times my purchase seemed to be voided but logging out and back in has restored it. My biggest frustrations are speed and obtrusive pop-ups that can’t be fixed without uninstalling the app.
Sometimes when connecting it will prompt me to enter login information when I’ve been logged in for days. This prompt will happen when the app is completely closed, I’m on a different app, or none. It limits what I can do with my own device by popping up every few seconds in the center of the screen and again, the only solution is to uninstall and reinstall the app.
Then, while in use, the internet browsing and content loading speeds are notably different than without the VPN. I accept that it would be slower. I didn’t think it would be THIS slow. I’ve been considering looking for another VPN and if I can find a quality lifetime product, I may switch.Show lessdrmxmr

Edit - spring 2024 update seems to have made it work now
Keeps signing me out whenever I access the app and claims I’m on the free basic when I bought lifetime subscription. The VPN turned on by itself somehow after I turned my iPad on and off again.Troupials
Not worth any money, only useful if you are not going to use it for streaming services
The first problem with this service is that all of their apps are garbage and barely function.
The second problem is that very few of the servers are stable enough to support streaming, sometimes they work and then eventually they stop.
The third problem is that they sell plan that is lifetime and then launch a new lifetime plan that takes away services from what you have already paid for – then they ask you for more money to get back what was in your original package.

Won’t accept login.
Quit working on my OSX laptop and my iPhone. Wouldn’t accept my login on either device (lifetime subscription). Has become useless.coaster49
The new UI
The app works, the servers are connecting fine and the speeds are ok, nice improvements. There is an issue with the settings pages when the OS is in the dark mode the app shows white text on the white background. It will be nice to have a horizontal UI support for the iPad. ThanksSpyderdsn

I got the lifetime plan last year and quite honestly, most reviews kept me slightly sceptical when getting it. But honestly, this has been my best purchase so far!
Also for the affordable plans this VPN features, I expected it to skimp out on features but my experience says otherwise. Totally recommended!Show lessJade Astrid
Excellent
I have used this service for a few years. It has been regularly updated and improved. The service is, and always has been, first class with prompt response to queries and effective answers. Straightforward and quick server connections, comprehensive settings options including a variety of devices now with RPi as well. Linux would be good if possible.

Lost purchase, bad customer support, app is now bugged
I'm sure a handful of you are wondering the same. "I bought a lifetime package for this app where did it go?" I am too. Apparently they changed they're pricing model and wipes out all past purchases? Is that even legal? Sounds like a bit false advertisement. I then email them and they totally ignore it.
In the app there's a new upgrade button. You try and press that and it freezes the whole app. This was a true 10/10 app and company for cheap vpn and since this happened I don't think i will refer anyone to this janky and greedy app.
This company has 1 thing to do. Make it right. And us consumers have 1 thing to do. Don't download or buy the new upgrade (if purchased the last package.) This isn't right.Show lessCpt Googly Eyes
