  • Fantastic app to connect with communities in any city!

    I travel a great deal for work, and this app has allowed me connect with great people in every part of the world. I’ve met some incredible people from all walks of life through this app, and the challenges provide a fun, easy way to bypass the awkwardness of meeting someone for the first time. Keep it coming - looking forward to the new challenges!

  • Love this app!!

    This is a fantastic app. It makes me connected to people, communities and the world. Mindfulness is always been my interest and I am so excited to share my meditation and peep out of others!! This is awesome!!!

    I'm stoked I found this app, I was struggling to make new friends during isolation and tbh I've met some really cool people on Vibely. plus the challenges are a fun way to keep me busy since being at home so much👌
  • App is good, but glitches a lot

    Have hardly been able to use the app to connect with people. Many glitches prevent me from seeing upcoming events, and when I open up app again, it glitches a second, third, time and so on. When there are no glitches it works fine
  • Unable to allow location permissions

    Hi I’ve enjoyed Vibely mostly for its GGG community.
    But I’ve been facing some problems with its location permission.

    Recently I had to reset my location and privacy. When I try to use the app, it asked to detect my city, instead of giving me the prompt to allow location like other apps, it asked me to go to Vibely settings to turn on the “location” which is missing due to the reseted settings.
    I’m unsure if this is due to my phone problem or the app, but other apps have prompted me to give permission for allow location.

    Went to sign up, there’s just so many compulsory things you have to agree to.

    You HAVE to upload a profile pic, it won’t let you continue if you don’t.

    You HAVE to have push notifications enabled, it literally won’t let you continue to sign up.

    You have to let it track your location at all times, huge data sucker.

    I’ve never had an app force me to enable push notifications, it’s ridiculous. It doesn’t effect the way the app works, you just want to notify me when I get a message, is that really necessary to make push notifications mandatory?

    Just left a bad taste. I’m going to delete it right now.

  • BAN THIS APP

    I was asked to join this app via a Facebook group. Upon joining, I was discriminated because of being brown, was verbally abused by a predominantly South East Asian group. And then was ejected out of the group without any explanation. This group violates Australian law, is discriminatory of its members, allows members to openly abuse one another verbally and has no governance nor protection for human rights. Shame on apple for allowing such a horrible app to pretend to bring together members in the name of exclusivity. This app and its developers should be cautioned, disbanded, shut down & removed from the apple store. Apple should remove this app & hold the developers accountable for harassment, racial profiling, discrimination & making threats against people who are brown and non-asian. The second review made below by an “anonymous” user is again made in a desperate attempt to harass me, make me feel like the villain & ultimately humiliate me. If you have the courage, put your name when you leave a review. The fact that no name is left is because of guilt and fear because they know what they have done & are afraid of not following local customs & basic civil decency.

    Hi there, it's unfortunate that you had a less than stellar experience with the app. We are inclusive of absolutely everyone here at Viblely, but when we receive multiple complaints about a specific user, we take it very seriously. Multiple users felt uncomfortable enough by your actions and words to reach out to us and ask that something be done. Again, we're sorry you had a bad experience, but we have a standard of conduct to uphold and above all, want everyone to feel safe and welcomed.
  • Great idea!

    I have been using this app as soon as it was available to use. I think it's a great idea to help people form connections. The initial increase in users did make the app very laggy but it was fixed up very quickly within 24 hours. So far the users have been very warm and supportive. I'm looking forward to eventually meeting up. The biggest tick of approval for me is the quick uptake of feedback from the creators. Any time I have given feedback there has been a response and action where possible.

    In saying that my initial hesitance to engage in the group came from one particular user (who has left a very bad review). I felt uncomfortable with the way he spoke to me and other users. The best word to describe it is creepy. I didn't know if the way he was messaging warranted any action but I discussed with other users and when he finally said the creepiest thing others responded to him which he responded with the most foul language. By this point many users had complained about him to the creator.

    He says in his review that he was discrimated against but I followed the conversation from the beginning and can honestly say there was no discrimination against him. At times he said questionable things that could be subtle discrimination against others.

    In any case, the community is much nicer and more lively now that he is gone. I'm thankful that the creator took such quick action. Otherwise I think people would have been turned off from using the app. I was wondering when he would begin retribution and feel sorry that the app might suffer due to it..
