  • Serves no purpose

Serves no purpose for my S30. This app has not been updated in years it seems. No zone support. Guess I will stick with the Lennox iComfort app for now. Alexa even supports zone control. It’s absurd this one doesn’t.
  • 4 years of complaints, no response from Lennox

I just spent an insane amount of money to replace my HVAC system with Lennox iComfort being assured it had HomeKit Suport. Well, for the first year, you couldn’t even download this app because the link would pull up “Not available in your country.” (I’m in California, arguably a third-world country at this point… but I digress.)

Scrolling through these reviews, I am appalled to see that the same complaint has not been corrected for four years: ZERO SUPPORT FOR ZONES.

I also wasted my time emailing Lennox.. never got a response. The email link goes to a specifically named person at Lennox, my guess is - he doesn’t work there anymore and no one thought to auto-forward his emails to whomever the next person was assigned to respond to technical inquiries.

    So disappointed.

  • HomeKit not working now

IT ERASED MY ENTITE HOME SETTINGS THROUGH APPLE, all my devices are gone now. This APP absolutely SUUCKS!!!!!!!!Can’t even get HomeKit to work with thermostat now….it’s “updating” then “no response”. Have to use the other app now. I can get it to successful connect to HomeKit, but won’t go past the “updating” and “no response”. Thanks piece of crap developers, congratulations, I usually don’t write reviews. Can’t get the thermostat to work with Siri and home app even though I deleted the app. Useless now.

  • Why does this app exist?

Is it really that difficult to add HomeKit functionality to the primary iComfort Thermostat app for the S30? It’s not like this (redundant) app is getting any updates anyway.
  • Update removes feature !

    Congratulations !
You’ve managed to remove the set “away” feature in the app !
It must take a huge effort to effectively kill and remove useful features with each release.
Took me at least 4 seconds to find the feature was gone. Do you test software before release ?
  • Works well for Main / Needs to add iharmony thermostats

The S30 thermostat combined with the iharmony thermostat allows me to control both a furnace, heat pump and to different areas of my house.

The limitation in the app does not allow you to add iharmony thermostats, nor has sensors for the set point temperature, inside temperature, the outside temperature, and humidity.

I feel the app should allow you to add the S30 communications module as a bridge and each thermostat as an additional group of sensors, similar to how philips hue bridge allows you to specify which rooms a light is in, or how first alert allows you to specify which room every fire alarm is in, or FibaroHome implements flood sensors with both an alert for a flood and the current temp for every room.

As an example of why I would want to know the humidity as a HomeKit sensor, then if the humidity got too high I could trigger a bathroom fan to run, or if it is too low turn on a room humidifier, similar to What Eve’s Room Monitor provides.

  • Useless

I have multiple zones in my home and this app doesn’t allow me to control both independently.
  • Not necessary with V3 of the S30

HomeKit is set up without this app if using V3 of the iComfort S30 (the one without the mag mounting part).
  • No Zone support for HomeKit

Come on guys, you have the ability to present to HomeKit more than one zones thermostat if you implement it as a bridge. Get on it! This app is worthless to the people with more than one zone.
  • Useless app

I don't see the point of this app. The thermostat app works already so what is the purpose of having another similar thermostat app. Also, Apple home kit keeps on saying there is an update for this homekit. However, the app will not update.
