I used to love it.
Until it stopped connecting to my otoscope. Why won’t it anymore ? This was so helpful in figuring out what was wrong with my ears. Now it is useless since it won’t connect to the app anymore.Ninja doll
Bad App
I have this great looking otoscope, but the app is so bad that it’s useless. I wish I had found out before I spent good money on this otoscope. I still have to buy a good functioning otoscope to check kids’ ears. But this was a waste.lsusanl
Poor quality
Very blurry, no mirror image so when using to look in nose on self, having to guess which way to point scope, very disappointingShopper1046
Smart Otoscope Set Up Easy
I do not understand all of these negative reviews about this app!!
I purchased the Smart Otoscope, Model: SA39W, because I was interested in using it for myself as I have started to lose hearing in my left ear (it’s a genetic disorder my mother passed down to my older brother and I).
I couldn’t wait to get this Otoscope up and running when I received it from Amazon. The “manual” was surprising small and limited, BUT it provided very clear instructions:
After downloading this app, close the app and App Store, power up the devise, then open WiFi settings menu of my iPhone to find and connect with the WiFi named “Smart Otoscope”, open the app once the WiFi is connected and observe the condition within the ear through the Otoscope and the app in a real time manner.
The app allows you to Take Photo, Record Video, maintain an Image Library, Image Comparison side by side, and Rotate image.
The reason for only 4 stars is because of the image quality. I can not find anywhere in the manual where it states what the image resolution is, or should be, just this sentence: “The high resolution camera provides great video quality, there are 6 LED lights on the tip of the camera which makes the light path and increases the visual field of view. “
I am enjoying my new Smart Otoscope and I hope I may have helped someone get their scope working by following the simple instructions.Show lessMustangKen64

When I write a review I expect for you all to post it . I wrote a review and you did not post it . I believe you didn’t want others to see it. Don’t buy this product. They don’t care that he’s just wanting money. The product say it works on this iPad but it don’t. Don’t put out something that works on one thing and not the others when it says . There is no directions at all whatsoever.
It looks like it’s an app that is acting as if it does something but is literally nothing. A picture with a black screen that you can press buttons on but the buttons don’t do anything at all. I have never seen anything quite like this. What benefit does this have? Did my phone just get hacked for downloading it? Does the creator get money for each download? Video recording is low resolution
I was tempted to give the app only 2 stars but it is simple to use and doesn’t want too much access to my phone so I give it credit for that. My major disappointment is the video recording feature. The otoscope we have is supposed to be 1080p but the recordings through bk WiFi are only 640x480 which is terrible. If they could fix that I would say at least 4 stars.Show lessSwisskake
Not a clear picture
This is not a very good scope to see in your ear. It freezes and goes black and it’s not a clear picture, it’s grainy.Iluvwwfs2014
