This apps works fine with the two lowest end cams I bought (cams which, btw, cost a tenth of the competition when bought with no batteries inside). It's all slightly cryptic stuff, so if it stops working, you google and read xsh cam troubleshooting discussions--turning the phone off and then on again tends to work. I didn't wire my cams up to a power supply--I just installed batteries which I scavenged out of a disused laptop--that saved me $40 in all ($10
per battery). Keep excellent records of your details--your wifi, your wifi pw, and your pw for the cam--and all should be well.
