Stuck in Home Screen

No matter what I do I can’t get out of the home screen. My lights are listed, but selecting them or touching them doesn’t do anything. I can’t get to the screens to make any adjustments to their color, brightness, schedule, or anything else. This app makes no sense to me at all. I’m really frustrated.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm a bit confused by this app behavior. Sometimes the lights stop broadcasting so they are unable to be connected to. We are working on this issue on the firmware end. What you can do is hold the button on the back of the light. This will reset it and then you should be able to select the light from the list. Does not keep settings!!

This light resets itself especially the motion sensor turning on by itself and also the app says in range and connected but does not respond to turn it off and its frustrating to unplug it to turn this “smart light”!

Hi, thanks for the feedback. We're doing our best to make the app as intuitive as possible. As far as reseting itself, have you tried setting your desired effect as the resting effect. You can also create a new preset and set it to run with motion. If you have any other questions, feel free to email us at support@zing.fm

So far so good BUT do we have a guide for optimal settings?

Hey team. Is there a YouTube out there for optimal settings so I know how to properly set these up?

For instance only to turn on when motion between certain hours??

Has Potential

The lights are bright and the internal features (colors, temperature, etc.) seem to work well but the app is as close to useless as possible. Nothing is straightforward and the lights frequently disconnect from the app. I went in for the three pack and hope to soon have an app that allows me to effectively manage the smart features inside this light.

Hi there, we added a new feature in v1.5.4 to automatically maintain the Bluetooth connection, it should solve the disconnect problem completely (if you are physically in range). Can you give a try see if it works better for you?

Useless

Nothing to set up but none of the settings you make will stick either. It just does what it wants. Now I can’t even make any change anymore. I cannot select the unit to make changes. Only if I could return this piece of junk.

Horrid

This app has no real setup support. Very lacking on how to setup. Unable to add a button preset at all and there is no support . Website has a few silent videos which are not useful. I really can’t get the lights to do anything I want to since the app is so bad. Emailed with questions no answer. I want to return this.

Hi, would you mind emailing us once again and mention your app review, perhaps your email got lost in the mix. We are working really hard to make the lights "plug and play", with minimal setup needed, but maybe we need to add a walkthrough for some of the features.
