What I think of MotionBook
MotionBook is a good app for animating for young animators. It doesn’t have a limit to where you can animate like animation creator HD I think MotionBook should invite the best of the best and have a contest for a whole week and see who wins every young animator starts out, with a simple animation like me and then they work their way up. It’s good but one issue that makes me so mad
So I know it’s a good game it has drawing comics and all the perfect good amazing stuff but the problom is I’ll be making a 68 paged comic I’m finished minutes later I make another one but I forgot what should happen next so I check what happend in the last comic but all the fricken pages are deleted!!!! I hate when this happens to me it makes me so mad I just wanna punch a wall! Please fix this that’s my only problom please ok?Show lesskeieheheheheheheheheh
Audio?
I have been trying to find a good animation app since the old one I used turned into monthly subscriptions before I could buy the complete version. This app seems perfect, and I don’t mind the lack of layers. But what would really seal the deal is if there is a way to add audio. It’s an animation app, and I’ve searched everywhere to find if there was a way to add audio in the paid or free version, but I haven’t been able to find a way. Is there a way to add audio into your animations?Show lessloafbread.
Missing a few things
Some tools that could improve the app are 1. A bucket tool. I spent a very long time filling in pages! 2. Larger brush options. Not only would this mostly negate the need for a bucket, but it would also be more effective for making a lot of different things at larger scale without the possibility of making them different sizes accidentally. 3. Layers. I’m certain that this is the most mentioned issue within the reviews. It’s difficult to draw digitally, let alone animate, without being able to select layers to work in.
Otherwise, it’s a pretty basic animation app. I would recommend this app over Flip-a-clip for more detailed animations just because of the smaller brushes that this one offers. However, if you’re looking for an animation app for vibrant colors and cuter animations with less detail, Flip-a-clip is the way to go. They offer layers and I think a wider selection of brushes, and they have a fill tool.Show lessOlliverghist
UNDO!!!
As an artist that is always scavenging for apps that are amazing and free to use, this app was perfect! When I first opened the app, the layout was not oversimplified, but also not overwhelming. The brushes on this app are few but awesome. If my friends were looking for a free animation app, this would be one of my top 3 recommendations. The only issue (and albeit a minor one) I have with this program is that when you double or triple tap to undo, it doesn’t have the function (for me). This is something I would love to see added because it makes everything much easier for the artist. The other thing is a selection tool, which would be very useful for editing small or large details. Good but could be great
The tools given are basic but useful. You have to pay for use onion layers. To transform and move around the drawing on that frame which is great. But I wish there was layers feature so could work on top of backgrounds. A lot more tools would be nice. I am glad I supported but I would like more to make it more easy to use. Grid would be nice for pixel art also. Please look into this it would greatly improve the app and the freedom to unleash creativity. Otherwise great app.Show lessSquidIncs
Motion book is super cool!
I love motion book so much I can just make super cool slides even my mom likes them! I can do so much with it. I can make my own story and write something that happened in my life. AMAZING!!!
This is one of the best animation apps I’ve used. It’s really easy to use and understand. My only gripe with it is that it has no layers. It’s easy to work around tho and the extension is cheap and very useful! I would definitely recommend this app for beginner animators it definitely helped me get started

Its okay...
I would like it better if you could see when you change to a different page you could see the previous drawing so it would be easier but other than that it's okay!I AM PERSON HELLO
It’s fine, but very annoying to use.
This app has decent drawing features, but there’s one main thing that annoys me alot, and it makes it almost impossible for me to use. Whenever I try to zoom, instead of zooming, it creates a giant block of ink or erase. This makes it impossible for me to make smaller details.
