Didn’t Hold My Interest

Only 3 stars because:
1. Couldn’t return to locate missed puzzle pieces when playing the Bonus game.
2. Interactive map does not show collectible objects to be found.
3. Refresh rate needs to be faster.
4. When playing, there is no button showing that a collectible object is to be found on the current screen.
5. Game is short, even including the Bonus chapter.
6. The skull’s dialogue is childish at times. Not scary as in the past.

Otherwise, there are no glitches. I enjoyed playing the HOPs.

Good game!

I gave 4/5 stars because the gems were a bit confusing, & I felt the game didn’t give enough of an explanation on how we were supposed to solve it. The forest & the compass game, for example - I found the patterns fine, but it didn’t tell me a thing about which one to choose. All 3 choices were lit up!
That’s the only issue I had - the rest of the game was great! Heavy on the Games, & I liked the HOGs a lot. It’s like a fresh drink after being thirsty for a long time waiting for one between games!

Super short!

This is my favorite series. Unfortunately, it is appallingly brief, with almost no story or goals. They also changed the voice actor for Richard, exchanging a deep, spooky voice with an almost high-pitched speaker. Richard is no longer edgy, but accommodating and sweet- an big loss for the series. Anyone know why, even though there are 390 reviews, I can only read 10 of them? I can see my favorite reviewers anymore. Also, anyone know how I can filter out the annoying gambling or stellar games, such as “Can’t Be Die,” when trying to find HOGs by release date? Anyone know why the, “a new game every day” company doesn’t even have a new game twice a week anymore?it used to be related to updating their software, but that’s been a year now. Come on! I think it’s time for me to break my HOG habit...

Way Too Short

Really enjoyed the game. My only complaint is how short the game really is. I also do not like if you miss any of the puzzle pieces, your not given the opportunity to go back for them.

This is one of my favourite game series.

A great series

I think this is game 8 and I have played them all. I have just finished the main game which has ended rather abruptly and also very quickly, I have played this in 2 sessions. This is not as good as the others or I am getting better, the puzzles weren’t too difficult and the hos were either just random tapping or find the pairs, some of which weren’t even hidden. The map was very helpful to move quickly and the hidden squares and morphing objects quite easy to find, not a very challenging game which is unusual for Elephant. I have now got the bonus game to play, but a bit disappointed.

Good storyline

For me it could of been a bit more scary but nice to play a good game 👍🏻

Another fun game by elephant games

Plot is better than average. Standard find the killer. Mini games are challenging. Game flow is logical. Voice acting is good.

No glitches.

Big Fish has changed the lore of the game.

Big fish has changed the floor of the game making it less spooky then it should be. Anna Gray’s Father was evil before he died and he tried to kill Anna. Now big fish has changed his voice and has also made him into a sweet man instead of the rascal that he was. I don’t appreciate it and I also don’t appreciate the change in voice actors.

Illogical mini games/ too short

Nice graphics but they don't make up for the poorly thought-out mini games that are nearly impossible to figure (really bad instructions) and that I had to skip constantly, wasting the $3.99 I shelled out for this. Very short game. No bonus game, either. Not worth the money, imo.

Wow

This is the first game I’ve finished all at once in at least 18 months. Considering I used to buy EVERY Big Fish game as they were released when I first started playing these type of games, that says a lot. Storyline is interesting, graphics are comparable to others in the series as is most other attributes.
