Whenever I saw a music video on Youtube, I always wanted it to show lyrics! Lyrist makes it very easy to just copy the lyrics, paste it under the video, and sing along with the song!Arghavan.fm

Sometimes inspiration strikes while you’re exploring other music, but you lose your ideas by the time you’re in a space to write it down, LOVE the note feature during videos!! My favorite part so far is the rhyming word feature and challenge posed by timed writing. Ive tried similar apps, but they have not been as user friendly. Really liking the simplicity of navigation in this one, for a novice musician like me, its great so far especially with my busy schedule its easy to jump in and out of this app.Show lessjaimejaleh

Definitely some room for improvement. But it is pretty good. I like being able to take notes as I watch a video and save those notes. I’m not much of a song writer, but for what I used it for it works pretty well. I wish it would save notes when you click off the video, that you could organize your library better, and that it saved where you are in the video as you take notes.Show less2794;&4/!

Non-songwriters are welcome! You can take notes which are saved automatically.AMAZING
Finally an app that lets you write lyrics with the beat on the same screen!!
Also has a nice rhyme lookup built in. 10/10 recommend.

Everything is organized and simple to use.
Though I’m not a song writer this app does make it much easier to write to music. You can even play inspirational instrumentals and write poetry as well. It would be awesome to see how themes could be added to this app. The only issue I have is with the dark mode when in the writers block section, it hides the status bar. I’m not sure if this is intended though.Show lessbastienMarc

Its just one of those apps you download just to delete, it will loose your lyrics, it will lag, it wont let you write in certain spots, complete garbage, the notes app is 1000x better than this. If you use this app your only throwing music away because IT DOES NOT WORK. Thanks to the creator for loosing a ton of my lyrics and songs, this app deserves zero stars.Show lessddddaaaannnyyy

Hey ddddaaaannnyyy, There are only two ways your song could be removed: 1. swipe to delete or 2. removing all the text from the page.
