We’ve rebuilt Werdsmith from the ground up to help you beat writer’s block and get motivated to write. Here’s a highlight of the new features in version 6: DAILY TARGET Build your writing habit with a Daily Target. On the Profile screen, choose the number of words you’d like to write per day, and we’ll show you your progress in the app, from the Writing Stats widget or from the new Daily Target widget. It’s a great way to strengthen your writing practice. PROJECT WIDGETS Get motivated to finish your projects by adding a Project Widget to your home screen. For each project, you can track its word count, the number of words you’ve written or the progress towards your writing goal - without even opening the app. AUTOMATIC CHAPTER NUMBERS Ghostwriter can now keep all your chapter numbers up to date in Novel Mode. Just type "Chapter" (without a number) and all the chapter numbers will be added when you finish editing. Move or add chapters and all the numbers will update automatically. One less distraction to worry about. FASTER PROMPTS If you’ve got writer’s block, you can now get a writing prompt right in your text while you type, without breaking your flow. If you’re happy with a prompt, just keep typing. LOTS MORE - A copy of your backups are stored in iCloud, perfect if you ever lose your device. - Novel Mode supports German, French, Spanish and Portuguese. - You can control Werdsmith with Siri or the Shortcuts app. - Search is faster and more accurate.
