I have been trying a million times to register my card to the app, but it never made it through. It has always said parameter error.

The older app was able to link an existing card. I was hoping to get rid of a few cards from my wallet. Oh, well.

if you forgot your card or doesn’t have internet on your phone then you cannot use the app. it does not support the add my receipt on the transaction history.
