Keeps disconnecting from my M11P
I establish a connection to the camera, and every single time I go to download an image it says "camera not connected" and exits the download. Sometimes it randomly works and I can download a couple of images if I'm lucky, but this extremely unreliable software is so frustrating to use. It works fine on my Q3, but I've seen others on online forums mention the same disconnection issue with their Q and M cameras. Fix the reliability issue please so we can download to mobile without all these problemsShow lesssam91927

I’ve had no real problems with the Fotos app (other than it’s well-documented glitchiness and inconsistency) until now. Suddenly, neither my iPhone or iPad will connect to my Q2 Monochrom. I’ve tried multiple reinstalls of the app, unpairing and re-pairing the devices, switching off Bluetooth and wifi, but I keep getting the same message: with the spectacularly stupid advice to “Restart camera Wi-Fi”. This seems like a well considered app, which is unheard of in the camera industry. The one major downside is it relies on accessing my entire photo library to work. I’d prefer not to hand over every location I have ever taken a photo since 2007 so I can print on a Sofort.

Best camera app for Leica cameras
This has to be the best camera app on the market for Leica cameras. Won’t open on iPhone 15
Good software on earlier versions of iPhone but isn’t working on the latest iPhonerephiew
Some good features but not great
-The app has a function for downloading images to iPhone but after downloading a dozen or so it crashes out. Another reason for its crashing is the camera going to sleep.
-The feature for controlling the camera for shooting is good but again slightest delay both camera and tge app go to sleep.
- it is a missed opportunity that the app doesn’t offer management of the menu items for example changing the order of favourites or other customisable feature.
-The Leica Foto app will not connects to the camera unless you switch the wifi on the phone off yet it has a feature to share or forward the images which is a contradiction; for example if you’re running out of space on memory stick then you can’t save your images to iCloud that enable you deleting files or formatting disk.
- Finally the Leica M has a built in memory and it would have made sense to access and clear the content using the app. It is not clear whether the app accessing this memory or there are any functionality.Show lessnejad
