Leave a Review Leica FOTOS
Useless unless you pay an annual fee
This app, like many other big brand camera manufacturers, lets you download your photos from your Lecia camera to your mobile device. The difference is that others are free. This app, after your first download, stops working unless you subscribe to their annual service. Ridiculous, instead of making consumers feel that that they have bought something luxury and valuable, this makes them feel that Lecia is a greedy company.Show lessRidiculous app!
I spent thousands dollars buying my q2, why should I still pay $65/year for this app?
My app shows that “can’t find WLAN”?!
I even cannot connect to my camera via this new vision! If does what it promises to do
With the Leica Q and my iPone X, I have no issues using this app. it works well with the comera as a LAN client or as a Host. All functions work for me, from the camera control functions to the images/videos transfers. And so far no yearly fee for this one.Worst
App says downloading DNG is a paid. Which is ridiculous already but it seems like even downloading JPEG is paid tooWhy are you charging money to transfer photos?
Seriously, Leica cameras are not free so that you can charge $67/year to view photos! Ridiculous.Beneath Leica, must be April 1st?
This app is beneath Leica and should never have gotten past the strategy department. Whoever signed off on this stupid decision should be sent off to study Sony A7R menus in perpetuity. Why would Leica tarnish their brand for such a small revenue source?Your joking
I’ve been waiting for this update for months as 1.0 was unreliable and now your going to charge me 50 usd to unlock to basic features you’ve got to be joking are you offering cloud services? Or anything worth this no this is kind of essential software for a new recent Leica. I will tell you if this doesn’t change all my Leica equipment will be sold off as I find this useless and an insult after buying a new Leica just do yourselves a favour don’t create software your not very good at it rather than kicking dirt in our facesShow lessPretty successful on my first trip
First time using this app during my trip to Japan, I had no issues syncing my phone to my Leica q2. The DNG files transferred to my iPhone successfully and I was quickly able to touch up my photos in lightroom.Need more user friendly update
The app is not bad, but real need more frequent update. I know this may not be Lecia’s focus, but at lease some basic functions need to be twisted. For example, coping photos from camera to phone, all photos are not in sequence. They are being randomly copied and not in order. This make user very hard to find the photos they need.Show lessNeeds improvement
For D lux 7 there is supposed to be a Bluetooth connection option as well as WiFi but I can’t find it even after reading the instructions several times over. It’s buggy at the moment but potentially could be useful.
App was updated to include Bluetooth. After numerous attempts to get Bluetooth to pair it finally worked only after reinstalling the app and resetting all network settings on the camera.Show lessDeveloper Response
Thanks for the good review, we continuously improving Leica FOTOS in the future!
