Not working on iOS 14
I can’t find the keyboard in iOS 14! I tried deleting and reinstalling app and no dice.
Please fix this bug!!
Update: I found it after rebooting phone, reinstalling, and then looking forward it under Anerkenungen in ScanKey preferences.

Best free app ever!
Hands down the best free utility app on the App Store today. This has saved us so much time and effort. THANK YOU!
Needs improvement.
- Default keyboard should be on Numeric so we can use this keyboard specifically for scanning barcode.
- By default auto return should be on
- Switching between Keyboard should be easy just by taping on the globe.
- “Open app” needs to be removed when we press on the globe. It is really annoying.
- Auto return doesn’t work
- Keyboard keep changing from default keyboard to Scankey. This is so annoying.

Crashes
Crashes every time I try to open the app.
Best Barcode Scanning Keyboard
Tried all of them, this seems to be the fastest and most accurate.
Would love a setting to always have the flash be on when scanning. Seems to be often faster when the flash is on, so it would be cool to auto turn on when you press the scan button instead of having to turn it on each time.

You could sell this code to enterprises
Scanning on this is easy and hands down one of the easiest for our department to use. The bitbucket interface to interact with customers is well designed and simple to understand. Makes reporting issues and receiving replies for support simple. The nay sayers of this app don't understand the scanning is simple, easy, and intuitive.

Best above-keyboard barcode scanner addon I’ve used
Best app so far for adding a barcode scanner over the keyboard. That said, had some hang ups. For one thing, nothing indicates that the scanning line is centered on the camera, which makes lining up multiple nearby barcodes tricky, as I have to eyeball them or open the scanner again if I scan the wrong one. Post-processing formatting works well except it does not fix the issue I have with scanning UPC codes, which adds a zero before the actual number and removes the digit at the end which requires manually typing the last digit to correct it, adding some difficulty to an otherwise very well implemented feature. Post processing only fixes the extra preceding character but not the missing trailing character.

Needs import option
5star app if not for that omission. 99% of the time I need to take a photo of serial numbers etc... then quickly extract text or codes from those photos.

This app shouldn’t be free. I quickly tested its rivals and found this more than good enough for my needs. It defaults to Qwertz layout, but you can switch that to Qwerty in settings. Features like post processing, which supports regular expressions (!), and auto trigger on first code are not enabled by default, but they are there. Also, the app has robust OCR support for random text that lets you either accept the whole string or just the individual words.
