This app is wonderful!

It is configurable to support most any barcode. The post scan processing features help you adjust to any website requirements. I am writing this review using the apps keyboard. I am not aware of another scanning app that includes a full function keyboard. The text scanning feature is also very cool.

The developer is very enthusiastic about the product and works on improvements all the time.

Please read the FAQs and watch the video you will scanning away in no time!

Perfect for entering Pokemon Trading Card Game Online codes!

I use this to super quickly enter codes from Pokemon Trading card game online bonus cards by scanning the QR code, it works great and saves me tons of time!

it's a great app!

I want to find a app to scan barcode for a long time.And I also try many other apps,but they are not very good.finally I find this app in Google.It's nice! I like it very much.I give it 5 stars,thanks the developer very much.

Why the full access??

This concept is really messed up. The fact that everything scanned with this app can be uploaded to the developer is a major showstopper!!
Assuming the use of the OCR requires the app send data to be processed on the developer backend, but the QR/Barcode feature should be available without me allowing the full access...
App uninstalled...

This rating is wrong in so many levels! 1.) I DON'T COLLECT ANY DATA OF THE USE OR UPLOAD THEM TO MY SERVER! I DON'T EVEN OWN A SERVER! 2.) If you are able to read, I explained the reason why full access is necessary in the app under "Why full access?" AND in the FAQ. Also you can read the reason in the official Apple developer guide line: I can only send the scan result from the ScanKey main app (where the scan is performed) to the keyboard (which is handled like a separate app) if the user doesn't allow full access! It's just a technical fact!!! 3.) You can do QR-/Barcode scans AND OCR scans without full access if you just do it from the ScanKey main app! 4.) If you would use your brain, you could just put your iPhone/iPad in airplane mode and perform an OCR scan and it will work - so how could it be processed on a backend which doesn't even exist??? You're lucky that I just not care about cheeky and ungrateful people like you and don't take further steps against your slander!

Simple and it works

Came across this project and evaluated it for entering scanned barcode data into a web form text field. You simply enter the text field, keyboard comes up as usual, and on the keyboard you click a button to enter scan mode. Barcode is quickly scanned and data is entered into the field. Nothing could be easier. Thanks!

Good app, needs a few features to be great

The live scanning is good, but mode to work on an existing picture, a zoom mode, and/or a high contrast scanning mode would be even better.
I work with a lot of parts with small laser etched data-matrix type bar codes and your app has a hard time with them, particularly on rounded/cylindrical or shiny surfaces. I’ve also noticed issues with contrast and orientation of the codes affecting ability to be detected and decoded.

Perfect Companion to WMS Web App

We evaluated several iPhone barcode sled hardware options for our new warehouse management system web app but found this gem at a fraction of the price that that works perfectly with the camera and saved us on hardware costs. Would recommend removing the audio that plays when selecting the Camera Access option which is not appropriate for business environments. Excellent work!

Could be a great app

It’s too bad it takes almost a minute to scan a barcode. It says it doesn’t detect a code when the code is clear as day. Sometimes if you bounce on one foot just right it’ll scan...

I know it’s the app because there is another app that is the same but requires a license which the company is reluctant to provide.

Anyway - id gladly pay a lot more for this app if it was as quick and effortless as the other app.... please improve!
