Can no longer open owncloud files in any other app. Completely breaks usability with many things.foxcob

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. Could you send the crash log to ios-app@owncloud.com ? iTunes syncs it to your desktop, but you can access directly on the device too. I noticed a lot of 3 stars. I don’t think this app deserves 3 at all. I have 4 for now and I will update this post later. I am transitioning from Mega Upload to my self-hosting Cloud. The only issue I notice so far was when uploading a 250MB file from my phone to the cloud. It keeps stating “Pending” and didn’t complete the upload and I don’t have a way to stop or cancel. So far, I did the same from my computer to the cloud and worked just fine.

Mostly Unusable
I don’t want to say this app is worthless, well maybe I do. The idea behind the app is good but the execution is horrible let me explain. I have Owncloud app on my iOS devices as well as my Mac. If I make a change to a file in Owncloud on the Mac it may or my not sync depending on what MOOD Owncloud is in at the time, in fact it NEVER syncs. Uploading file from iOS devices of have the same results.
If I got to my server and deplete file and clear out cached data to app still shows the files and if I try to delete them for iOS it says files locked or “unable to sync loading cached data”. There is no way to clear cached data in the app, I usually wind up deleting and reinstalling the app. Sometimes that works sometimes not.
I’m sorry I paid for a years subscription even though it was only $2. If you’re considering a personal cloud use NextCloud they have none of these issues and the app is free.

Poor support
This version needs owncloud 10 but the newest version for QNAP is 8.

This is a really good ownCloud client. First sync is a bit slow but not too bad (even on local network). Copy/upload/share from other app is not straightforward and sometimes a hit and miss. Otherwise, great app.Alex1101

The app has a bug that requires me to reboot the iPad whenever something is done via the files app. I did not get any reaction to multiple e-mails.T112489
