  • Not for math beginners or kids

Math isn’t my strong suit. I grabbed this game thinking it would help me get better at quickly solving basic math problems. Doesn’t start off very slow. Not able to adjust difficulty, timer speed, etc. Definitely not a game my kids will enjoy either. I’ll give the game another try if adjustments can be made for people wanting to get better at math and for kids.

  • Good game too many ads

Why so many ads. Too many. I don’t like ads. I like the game though.

    Developer Response

Hi, thanks for your feedback! There were some forced ads that were not skipable due to a misconfiguration. That was not intentionally and we've changed that. We'd be happy if you'd give it another try. :)

  • Great game to many annoying adds

Love the idea of this game, but the adds after each battle is annoying after 10 minuets of playing. It is optional to pay to remove adds but it’s not the point.

    Otherwise I’d play it

Hi, thanks for your feedback! There was a misconfiguration that resulted in some ads being not skipable. That was not intentionally and we have already changed that. We'd be happy if you'd give it a try!
  • Too fast

This such a cool game, but 5 secs is just not enough time for my 10 and 12 yr old to work out the problems, it would be cool if we could adjust the time.

    Developer Response

Hi, thanks for your review! We've addressed that issue with version 1.1. You'll have 3s more base time and the game was made a bit easier. We hope you'll give it a chance. :)
  • Shameful

    I’m disappointed Crescent Moon.

3 layers deep premium currency micro transactions in a game geared towards children and young adolescents. This is the height is sleazy. The game concept is interesting and nicely executed but the devs turned it into exploitative garbage.

Parents: avoid this for your children, there are surely less scummy math games on the App Store. This one is going to encourage purchase of mana flasks to be used to buy gems to be used to buy consumable items in the in-app shop.

Crescent moon used to be a respected publisher years ago, it is sad to see their name on something like this.

  • Seems fun - Stop the timer or get rid of energy

I realize you want to encourage quick thinking, but having to do multiple math problems in 5 seconds is fairly difficult if you’re thinking you can’t screw it up, which gives you nerves. If you do make a mistake you won’t get all the stars, I imagine, which wouldn’t normally be a problem because you could just practice. However, you have energy to worry about too. All in all it makes you more anxious than entertains you. However, I feel the developers will respond to feedback from users, so I’m hopeful.

  • Cute concept

Nice art, cute way to battle, a bit too many Ads.. perhaps Ads will only show when you lose a battle, instead of showing up all the time?

  • Very Interesting Game, Forced Ads

I got this game thinking it’d be a great way to quickin my mental math skills. I got through the first three battles and was greeted with a forced ad. The game looks great and plays just as well but I refuse to play a game that forces ads on players. I normally will freely watch ads for bonuses (which this game also has) but I can’t enjoy a game that makes me stop what I’m enjoying.

  • This is supposed to be for children????

If a game is definitely geared toward children, specifically as an educational game, please tell me why the heck there are Hempire App ads??? I am so disappointed that my eight year old can not play this otherwise cute game because there is an advertisement for a game about growing weed!!! I have the Hempire app and enjoy it - it’s not about being against Hempire - it is the fact that they should take into consideration the age of which they are marketing to. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Shame on them... not all parents have the time to check out a game before their child plays it! It SHOULD BE ASSUMED that a children’s game will have appropriate ads!!!!!!!
