Outrageous
1- the price for a disto X4 P2P is not light ~£1100.
2- for using the P2P app extension it costs £26!!!
3- the app is not intuitive, you really need a big training, or you already have a good practice with the gear/app, just to make what you bought for.
4- it doesn’t have a basic memory, which means if you do not save straight away -as PDF, or ???- before navigating to whatsoever menu, all the measurement you just took will be gone, the app doesn’t save anything!!!
5- for the price I already paid, this price I have to pay more for a PDF pro, and of course there is no explanation about what ‘pro’ is for...! None just virtual. No export to a place where you can build your house A’s rooms. Really !!! This is rip off.
I hope you guys are not proud of yourself. And about Leica, I am furious about how you treat your customers. Whatever the price of a disto, you should provide a free app just because you are Leica, because you are the best. Not cheap brand. The words : service, quality, customers... are only marketing.

Being professional means anticipating the customers issues, understanding the needs, the uses, and the fact that they don’t have your knowledge. Pretty decent app
Slight learning curve when you first start using the application. However I didn’t go step by step through the app’s built in tutorial, and was able to relatively pick it up intuitively. That being said it’s pretty solid and easy to use. I recommend getting a Leica laser measuring tool to pair with the application. It makes the process of measuring a job site very streamline, and once you develop a consistent process it flows quickly.Show lessRip buildings
Useful for one room at a time, useless for an entire home
The app is useful for measuring one room. If you want to survey an entire house, the app is very disappointed. I’m sure Leica can do a better job. For instance: There is no option to input the walls width. The P2P technology using x3,x4 or s910 it would be great if there were an option for multiple stations, so you could move your tripod to one room
to another within the same drawing to be able to draw an entire building. The way it is now, there is no way to that. Other apps have that option. Without these options the potential of the disto x3, x4 and s910 is wasted. I’m sending back my S910 and continue with my D2 to use it with this app. There is no point for me to have a $ 1500 equipment to draw use P2P in one room only. Leica I know you can do better. Dissatisfied
Very disappointed that the app would not permit p2p or smartroom function without extra monthly fee. After paying extra, smartroom is limited to just 20 measures. Have to measure each room as separate file. Impossible to measure a whole building. Emailed Leica about this but never got a response after shelling out $500 for Disto x4Show lesslaserfatigue
Quality Measuring Device
This lovely distance measuring tool forms part of the evidence gathering tools used by accident investigation/forensic teams. Nothing else works as reliably or is as accurate. My personal experience would concur.Hidden-ID
