  • Bug with latest version of the app.

    After the latest update the app no longer displays the total accumulation of solar power for the day. Would be great to see this app function with Apple CarPlay as well.
  • Really great product

    I’ve had this app for nearly a year now and I’ve had both the old and new generation of the update for the app works perfectly every time for me very happy with this product
  • Update worse than old app

    I’ve always had trouble keeping Bluetooth connection in old and find new app just as bad if not worse. I have iPhone 15+, deleted and reloaded app and loose connection. I’m now not able to reconnect, have deleted and rebooted everything and now no connection, little green wheel spins round and round, very disappointed in redarc products

  • New version is terrible

    I lost the functionality of being able to see the charge rate on my smart battery monitor by this forced update. Hopefully they improve this version otherwise it will be time to move to another brand. Been in the fence with Redarc anyway. They seem to be resting on their laurels.

    Hi Redarc,
    Reckon you could assist as to why it doesn’t read the shunt now?
    Also, is there scope to make this exist in Apple CarPlay?

    Hi there, sorry to hear that you're experiencing an issue with the Smart Battery Monitor. Could you please update to the latest version of the app ( 3.0.1 ) and see if this resolves the issue? If not please reach out to support via power@redarc.com.au and share any additional information such as screenshots, error messages and info around the model of phone that you are using. Apple CarPlay is definitely something we have been exploring. If you have any ideas on what features you'd like to see in the CarPlay app or any more general ideas on improvements to the app, then please share these via power@redarc.com.au too.
  • Terrible connectivity

    The Configurator app works well, this one is junk and won’t connect. I’ve spent way too much time trying to make it work. Total junk.

  • Almost worthless

    It's 2024...sometimes Bluetooth devices can be finicky, but this one is down right unstable. It's always faulting out and requires a power cycle to recover. The controls are sometimes available and sometimes not. Every time you open the app it seems to go through a reconnection process. Not to mention that the configuration requires an entirely different app. I regret buying the whole system, as there are many significant flaws and lacking features, but the app issues take the cake.

  • Suggestion

    App works great, one suggestion is as this is primarily associated with cars and caravans it would be very handy as a carplay app as well.

  • For goodness sake Redarc get you app act together

    I’ve been struggling to use this app for three years now and it still drops out showing the message ‘Device and/or phone fault. Please power cycle/restart both.’ How do I do that and what does it even mean? I’m an 80 year old solo caravaner make it easy for me to use the very good app - when it works.
