Yet another disruptive update!
Why is it, that every time Technics updates this app to “ improve” it, it suffers a misfire? The latest update might have improved the “Tidal” streaming facility, but it has done so by removing the internet radio streaming facility. Come on, Technics, you can (and should) do much better than this!!! Try again - and try harder!

App instability
Lot of great features within the app, but the use of the app is disturbed by being frequently disconnected, frequently meaning every second minute if the app is open.
Clunky
Very clunky for a high end price of hardware.

Buggy and slow
I use this with an SU-GX70 and it is not a good experience. For starters, the unit somehow seems to “forget” my WiFi network every few weeks, requiring a factory reset because the app can no longer access it and Google Home sees it in some kind of half-disconnected state where it can detect the device but can’t connect to it.
The app itself is slow to load music and VERY slow to paginate, and crashes somewhat regularly. Sometimes it’s a full app crash, but other times there are “feature crashes” where you try to do something and it looks like it’s trying, but then it gives up and just takes you back to wherever you were.
Very disappointing overall for a $2,000 device.

Stopped working.
Would have given it 4 stars up till now but stopped working on iPad and phone. Probably one of the many updates now useless and need to use a PC for streaming and internet radio. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it especially if it cost £900.

Good app overall, frequent bug fixes with updates . Would love to see album artwork when playing cds on the app.
Strong performing app
I’ve been using this app for a couple of years and find it impressive. I’ve never had any stability issues and the overall user experience is positive, with an intuitive and thoughtful user interface. For a non-software company, this a very good effort.
App Interface
App interface needs improvement. Navigation back and for while searching with apps like Tidal is finicky
Slow and losing data
While I’m happy with the internet speaker, the app is very poor, slow to read the data from the device and the UI is ergonomically light years behind. Also keeps losing the saved favourites stations and displaying new random ones instead, although this might not be directly related to the app.
A lot of room for improvement
This app serves Technics new multi-thousand dollars audio equipment. Let’s make it at the level of refinement as the audio equipment it serves.
In the meantime, please add Mid Range tone control to the already Bass and Treble tone controls in the SU-GX70 in the next app update.
