CRASHES- useless app
The app crashes when sending the sound wave to camera to pair. Contacted support and they advised is no immediate solution.
Miserable app
I inherited the doorbell camera with a home we bought and while I was able to set the device up for use, the app and device are so awful even for free I’ll be replacing them. I’ve had Ring products in the past and while not perfect, it was light years better than the LaView One Halo....
Absolute Garbage
This app is terrible. I’ve had it for over a year now and it has never worked properly.
First of all, it always signs me out so I have to log back in. That alone takes a ridiculous amount of time. You can enable Touch ID, but don’t bother because it doesn’t work. In fact, when I had Touch ID enabled, it would ask for my fingerprint and then the screen would freeze. I’d have to close the app and open it again and log in with my credentials instead. I actually reached out to their tech support to get help with how long it takes to log in and the only help I got was “turn off Touch ID.” So now I just have to log in with my credentials every time. Great. Super helpful. Shaves off about 15 seconds of the total time it takes me to log in to even see who rung the door bell.
Which brings me to my second point. I’ve been able to receive maybe 5 or 6 of the times people have rung my door bell in the past year because the app takes at the minimum a minute to load. First I have to log in, which, as I’ve already discussed in detail, takes forever. Then I have to click on the doorbell, then I have to wait for it to load. No matter how good my internet connection is, it takes at least 10 seconds for the camera to load. By the time I actually get the ability to receive a call, the person has already left. What’s the point of having a video doorbell if I can’t even use it?
Don’t waste your time with this garbage doorbell, this garbage app, and this garbage company. Save yourself the frustration and get a better one.

Worthless
Hardware is good for this doorbell but software is terrible. The app will not stay logged in every time the door bell rings it wants me to log back in on the app by the time i get logged back in the person is gone from my door. Has not been fixed in over a year no response from developers this app is trash got another doorbell that works much better stay away from this app it doesn’t work.

Too many problems
The app does not allow you to turn off Push Notifications. It cannot connect to the camera at the time you need to check because the camera goes off line most of time and you can not wake it up remotely. It takes too long to view history from local storage and more often then not it says record not found. It is the most expensive peephole camera but the app is almost useless. Very frustrating.

App stopped ringing
My doorbell no longer rings the app when someone presses the doorbell. Still get notifications for motion detection, but not ringing my phone when someone presses the doorbell defeats the purpose. I did the whole reset reconnect thing and even re-installed the app and re-set it up but no ringy dingy.

Pretty awful
The app just isn’t good.
You all have to do better. This is utter bs.
Total waste of time. And who’s idea was it to connect via sound wave? SO OBNOXIOUS! I know, try the other two ways to connect the cam... I did. Neither of the three work. This is after resetting it AND trying with a wired connection. So I delete the app and reupload it and the rest password link doesn’t even work. I need a w2 went to me asap please cause this has been a part time job over the past year+ and the bs STILL doesn’t work and shady when it does.

Please update the interface
I really want to love this app but it’s not very user friendly and looks pretty choppy, please make the interface more user friendly and much more smoother to navigate 🥴
Very glitchy
Half the time program doesn’t work. Only part of it Other half. Can’t share video connections because the share screen never loads
