Reviews of Mogul

  • Best app to manage networking

There really isn’t a better app that helps me organize my contacts in a user friendly manner. 10/10 recommend.
  • Amazing for keeping in touch

This app has honestly been so helpful. I’ve been using it to keep track of all the people I meet each week. The design is also beautiful on both the mobile and web!
  • Good but so close to great

So much potential. I never write reviews but I’m hoping by some chance the developers read this.

User interface is beautiful! Definitely makes me want to keep coming back.

The search/people tab is nice and simple. I like the fact it displays the last interaction. But make it more easy to scan. Scrolling through the names is hard to do as all the small white text just blends together. Maybe try separating with boxes, colors, italics, etc. Also maybe small color boxes based on length of time since last interaction: Green is 1-6 days. Yellow is 7-13 days. Orange is 14-28 days. Red is 29+ days. Something like that.

The history tab is also nice, but it’d be so great if you could switch views to a list view that shows a full history, in chronological order, of all messages...split up by days. So for example, it has March 1st with 3 entries listed. Then February 28th with 2 entries. And so on.

Reminder tabs is darn near perfect.

Profile tab is also very good. I like the pinned bio. I like that the reminder pops up next, then interactions. I wish you could add custom interaction types (ie Text, Facebook message, Instagram, Etc.). Also clicking that three dot menu button gets old. I wish there were + signs that we could tap instead.

Your swipe to delete function is kind of frustrating because the whole page wants to swipe down to close every time. It needs to be less sensitive.

And finally, my last concern is with the price. $10/month is too high for this service. I pay $11/month for a Disney+ and Hulu subscription (for both) that keeps peace in my house by entertaining my child and my wife and I. That’s for access to tons of movies and TV shows for the same price as your simple service.

I would rather pay $3/month...maybe $5 for the fixes I’ve requested and future improvements. There’s a competitor of yours that offers these things for a 1 time charge of $25. Their software just isn’t near as pretty as yours.

Just something to think about. Best of luck!
