Cumbersome and buggy
It took me 10 minutes to place an online order for pick up today. My billing address changed but there was no way to update it within the checkout process, nor a way to see what address was associated with the payment I selected before submitting the order and getting hit with an error. I went to my “wallet” and low and behold, still no way to update the billing address for my card. I had to submit a new, duplicative payment method from scratch. This app doesn’t support auto filling the card info like on most other apps so I entered in all my card info manually instead. Once I finished, I tried removing older payment methods that were also tied to my old billing address. The app wouldn’t allow it because they were allegedly associated with recurring orders. I don’t have any recurring orders and confirmed this in the app. I guess I’m just stuck with out-of-date addresses and payment methods in my account for…forever? Cherry on top of this whole rats nest of a checkout experience, when I went to submit my order with my updated payment method, I got another obnoxious “Ruh oh!” error message, the 100th one I got today. I wanted to throw my phone but just gave up and used Apple Pay instead. What a ridiculous, unusable piece of tech.
